When it comes to cream scones and cappuccino, you can't beat Not Bread Alone in Cresta. If the scones were any fresher, they wouldn't have been in the oven yet. The jam and cream are always generous. Their cappuccino is the perfect pairing with the scone. The staff - particularly Paulina - are superb. The whole experience is wonderful and definitely re-doable again and again and again.
What can I say about Panteli's!!! I have been a fan of theirs since long before lockdown. Went to the restaurant for supper last Friday and my memory was not disappointed. The welcome was fantastic, the service was great and the food was as superb as i remember from pre-lockdown days. It was so good that I am going back for supper next Friday evening.
I highly recommend this company to ANYBODY needing panelbeating for their vehicle(s). From the moment they accepted my vehicle at their offices until the returned it to me, service was outstanding. The staff - particularly Lerato and Vuyo Nyubuse - were friendly and efficient. My vehicle was returned to me within the specified time (in fact a day early). The workmanship was outstanding. I was notified daily by both email and sms of the progress of the repairs and even received photos to back up what I was being told. The "little touches" such as sanitising the car before handing it back to me were impressive. Thank you G&T Autobody. I hop I don't need another panelbeater anytime soon, but if I do, you are the people I will come to.
I recently took my bike for a service at Eagle Canyon Cycles and got it back this morning. The turn-around time was impressive, the service was well done, the cost was very reasonable, the staff were FANTASTIC. This is not the first time that I have used Eagle Canyon Cycles and it definitely won't be the last.
I went for my COVID-19 vaccination yesterday at 1 Discovery Place, Sandhurst and I only have praise for Discovery as an organisation and their Covid team in particular. From the traffic wardens directing traffic into the underground parking, to the staff who were strategically placed to direct the public to the next station along the vaccination route, they were courteous, friendly, warm and helpful. The process took longer than I thought it would BUT it was flawless. THANK YOU, DISCOVERY. You rock!!
I had a pizza supper at Panteli's on Friday 05 March 2021. It was probably one of my best experiences since the start of lockdown. Service was spot-on efficient. Food was out of this world. In my opinion, definitely the best pizza in Johannesburg. I recommend it highly.
Dear Harold at NetFlorist I didn’t think you were a rip off but now it appears that you might be. On 18 August 2020, I ordered Jameson’s whisky from you and not only received confirmation of my order but also confirmation of the specific date on which it would be delivered (27 August 2020). On the delivery date, I received a call informing me that the Jameson’s wasn’t available and that I would be sent a voucher in lieu of a refund. When the voucher arrived via E-mail, it even included a very courteous apology:- Hi Bryan, We are sincerely sorry for the inconvenience we have caused you. Please accept a complimentary NetFlorist voucher. That’s where courtesy stopped. On 18 September, I tried to redeem the voucher for the identical product as it was back in stock. I was informed that the voucher could not be redeemed against Jameson’s. (Strange, as it was issued against a Jameson’s order in the first place.) Some correspondence between myself and your team achieved nothing. Yesterday, I tried again to order a 1 litre bottle of Jameson’s Irish and was told that I couldn’t redeem the voucher against the product. After a bit of polite back-and-forth with one of your team members, I was offered a 750ml bottle of Jameson’s Irish (same product that I “can’t redeem against the voucher” but a smaller bottle) plus one (1) slab of Lindt Salted Caramel Chocolate for R170.00 MORE than the price of the larger bottle. I’m not sure how your pricing department works but R170.00 MORE for 250ml LESS seems something of a rip off to me.
