I spent a few nights at this hotel in December 2020. While the hotel is nicely located, the staff are amiable and the room was reasonably comfortable, the stay was not completely pleasant. The hotel is in desperate need of maintenance in the common areas and clearly lacking cash flow. The supposed spa is not in existence. The restaurant was unhygienic, with shockingly poor adherence to Covid protocols and breakfast was of very poor quality. I refused to dine there after the first morning and requested a refund on the expensive breakfast for the remaining days (breakfast was charged to me on arrival, and not requested on my original online booking through a third party site). The request was granted and the form filled. Two months later and the refund has not been paid. The staff have stopped responding. Some research of other reviews has shown that they have not processed refunds to other clients as well, some much larger amounts than just the breakfast. A hotel group who steals from guests should not be in business. It is truly disgraceful. I have never given a negative review to a hotel before, but this one is definitely to be avoided.
