I happily had a Spotify account for over a year when suddenly my playlist was deleted. I contacted Spotify immediately and was told that I don't have an account even though I had been paying for over 16 months. I completed personal information forms 3 times and communicated daily via emails for over a month, but Spotify were still unable to locate my account. Spotify continued charging for a Premium account for up to 4 months thereafter. A dispute between the bank and Spotify resulted in the funds being refunded but Spotify has once again charged for a Premium account. This has resulted in having to close my credit card account completely because Spotify cannot rectify the situation. Spotify does not seem to have the ability to cope with a large number of accounts and the issue is never resolved, unlike other companies where when you choose to cancel your account, it is cancelled immediately, without further ado.
I am still waiting for FNB to respond to fraud deductions which continued to take place even after a credit card was cancelled. 3 complaint letters have been sent to FNB as well as copies of transcripts. Nobody at FNB can give me a Merchandise Transaction number in order to resolve this query with the party concerned and no assistance has been forthcoming from FNB after 2 months of continuous requests. FNB doesn't know what service means.
PC International sold me a HDMI / VGA adaptor for R320. When the adaptor stopped working after 13 months I was told that the warranty was no longer valid. I bought another adaptor from Incredible Connection for R599 which has a 10 year warranty. Work it out!
