I will never recommend their services to anyone. I took my motorcycle to them in 2021 for a service. We then discussed chain and sprocket replacement and we decide to replace it. Aswell as fit some upgrades and fabricate a number plate bracket (seeing as they removing the standard number plate bracket to fit the integrated tail light.) Verbal discussion and pricing I got was around R5500-R6000 - fine. They then needed about a day and a bit to complete the job - fine. I drop off my bike the 25th of January 2021. Here's where things get sketchy. After a few days I contact them asking when the bike will ready - long story short they stall me and I eventually collect my bike on 02 Feb 2021. Remember, they verbally quoted between R5500-R6000. I arrive there and my bill is now R9711.75. They charged me: Labour R3025 Chain & Sprocket R2550 Service Parts R2630 (Oil, filter, plugs) Consumables R240 (not sure what that is for) VAT 15% Total R9711.75 I'm flabbergasted but I pay the bill because I needed my bike back as I used it to commute to work. However, as discussed, we agreed upon certain things to be done which wasn't completed. They removed number plate bracket and fitted the integrated tail light, so there was no number plate was on the bike at the time of collection. They also hadn't fitted front incators - fine. They then asked me to come back and drop off the bike so they can complete the job. I agree and come back the following week to drop off the bike. On collection of the bike (2nd time) there was still no number holder made. The person working on the bike ensures me that he will make it at another time because they busy and have alot of work. I too needed to use the bike for work so I agreed again - fine. I leave my standard indicators with him. I asked him if it will be safe there. "I'll keep them in my desk draw" he says to me - fine. I'm eventually fed up with them messing me around so I don't go back thinking I can just pick up my indicators at a later stage. Fast forward to last month. I call them up asking about collecting my indicators. The disrespectful manner in which the call was met with was quite shocking! The lady answering the call tells me she needs to check her records cause it's so far back and ensures me she will get back to me. Rushing me off the call. This call took place 26th April. She then responds to me later via a whatsapp message: "Hi there chatted to Ikraam, he will need some time to look for indicator as was so long ago . Will advise soonest thank you Denise Wrench Monkey CPT" My response: "Thank you. Will wait on a response from you guys" 9th May I still havent heard back from them so I decide to whatsapp message again: Good Morning Denise. Could you please give me some feedback on the indicators. Thank you. Her response: Sorry we don't keep old parts that long. My response: The reason the parts was still there was because there was still work to be done on the bike which I had already paid for. A few moments later my phone rings, it's Gary/Greg or something. He starts going off at me, screaming over me that they haven't charged me labour for making a number plate holder.(debatable) Nevertheless I give him a chance to speak. When I start speaking he again screams over me "why must I look after your parts" taking no responsibility for his employee who assured me my parts is safe with them. Infact using profanity and a derogatory manner speaking to customers. Honestly, I don't care about the parts or that they waayyyy over charged me. But the mere fact that they are disrespectful and conduct business this way in 2022 is pathetic. They could've easily remedied the situation if they had an ounce of dignity or respect in them for PAYING customers. I hope unsuspecting customers read these reviews before making a decision on taking their beloved bikes to this place. I hope this review also finds them and changes their way of doing business, who knows maybe they'll get some customer service training in the near future. ***NB these wrenches will make a monkey out of you.
<div>I've experienced the worst telephonic customer service in my life yesterday. Geraldine (not sure if this is her name as she did not want to give it to me a second time because she says she already told me her name) from Moimooi has absolutely zero telephone etiquette and the worst ever customer service and attitude. While explaining my query, she talks over me and didn't give me a chance to fully explain my problem. Keep in mind that im already frustrated because of my situation. So in August 2019 I decided to sign up for this R99 pm package, it was a special they had which was only available for a limited time. Even after doing some research and reading a previous complaint about someone who couldn't cancel their contract and was being charged months after canceling. I thought its just someone with a bad experience and it wouldnt happen to me. So before I agreed I clearly remember asking the consultant if that is all I would pay pm. She assured me that that was all I would pay and stupidly i went for it and signed up. So the very 1st time I used them, after weeks of struggling to get an appointment was in December 2019, The next time I used them was in March 2020. So after paying for 7months I used them twice. Then the pandemic hit and I wasn't comfortable with doing any treatments so I never used them again. So my issue i have with them came in December 2020 where I was debited twice 18th & 24th. I then checked my bank statements and notice that Moimooi was actually debiting me R199pm since March 2020 and not the agreed upon R99pm. I then sent an email, because its nearly impossible to get through to them telephonically. My email stated that I have an account query and I would like to make another booking and requesting a call back, thinking they would resolve my issue and I would just continue my contract and use them when I needed to. The next day I get an email response saying I needed to provide more details to my queries. I then reply with the email stating my case as well as wanting to make another appointment. I get no response and decide to call again and to my surprise I get through. I speak to a lady Shareefa. Who informs me that she only does bookings and not queries. She then puts me through to the worst telephonic customer service experience I have ever had. So while trying to explain my situation the person (Geraldine) is firstly abrupt with me and talks over me while I'm explaining what happened. She then proceeds to be ****y and rude with me which got me extremely frustrated. We get into a heated argument and when I ask different questions about their policy she responds with repeating herself with the same line over and over. I then ask her name and she gives it. But I don't take it down. I immediately ask her to give her name again and she blantly tells me "I already gave it to you and im not repeating myself." At this point I'm fuming! Now, I don't want to give them my business anymore and want to cancel. I then tell her I want to cancel she responds rudely "send and email, im not canceling anything" I then ask to speak to her manager she responds abruptly "I dont report to anyone." I then ask for the owners details she responds abruptly "his name is Lance." I ask to speak to Lance she responds again abruptly "he isn't available." I ask for the email address she gives it and I ask her to hold on while I send the cancelation email and then she would receive it while im on the line and I can get confirmation that she did. Her response "im not holing on." I then send the email quickly and ask to refresh her emails so she can receive my cancelation. Her response "im not refreshing anything" "im not canceling anything" I then say ill stop the debit order. Her response "go ahead then we will hand you over" So now you can only imagine my frustration, I probably used the "frikken" with her at some point and I guess that, in her mind, gave her license to speak to me rudely and shout over be as unhelpful as she could be. She then doesn't respond and let me hold on for a long time, while saying hello hello all the time. I then say to her im not putting the phone down till this is resolved and she then put me on speaker phone and I hear her discussing the call with someone there. I still hang on and she finally responds and I tell her that this isnt just going to go away and that I will not hang up and I will call every day. Her response "go ahead and call" She then says "im done" and drops the call. Her telephone etiquette and atrocious customer service and disgustingly rude way of talking to a client lost the company my business. I will not tolerate someone to treat me in this manner especially if im paying for something that I don't use. </div>
