Was there 2 days ago. The staff allowed a known ****** to take down my cellphone number from the waiting list after my sister and I had already turned down this man’s advances.
Aramex needs to be put to an end in this country. They don’t answer the phone, they are not transparent with customs charges and then out of nowhere you get slapped with charges at almost 100% or more of the value of your parcel, when you do pay the customs charges they still delay in releasing your parcel and you have to be the one to chase after them (that’s if they even pick up the phone)...the list of everything wrong with Aramex South Africa is long. And to those who think they won’t get slapped with customs charges because their parcels are under R500 you are sorely mistaken. I’ll never use Aramex again. NO ONE should use Aramex, please save yourselves- I along with many others are your guinea ***s!
Guys don’t do it. Customs clearance charges=NOT WORTH IT. I placed an order from Charles & Keith worth R3250 and customs are charging me close to 100% of the value of my parcel. I had absolutely no idea up until customs notified me saying that they will only release the parcel until I pay the customs charges. Upon checking out, Charles & Keith should be open with customers by letting them know that there will be customs fees due.
