This team was instrumental in providing relief assistance for the effected communities and worked very hard along with Emergency and Rescue units to recover people, property and infrastructure during the KZN floods this April 2022.
Our 8 night stay at Siso Dwana Lodge in Sodwana Bay felt like a weekend with the comfort and hospitality of the hosts and their team. The self catering unit that was our home for a week was completely kitted out with everything that we needed. We made use of the laundry facility that is optional. Every morning the unit is cleaned and perfect when we returned from the beach. The beautifully large and refreshing swimming pool that overlooks Sodwana Bay was marvellous to cool off with the restaurant and bar at the pool side. The lodge offers additional scuba diving and game drives to those who aren’t fishing or beaching and their equipment and vehicles are in impeccable condition. This was truly a wonderful holiday experience for our family of 4 plus one friend. Pricing was fair. I would definitely recommend this superb place to anyone.
I am a long standing (20yr+), loyal client of MTN MBizo1 (SABC0186) store and have experienced excellent service up to a year ago. The sales lady that was assisting me actually discriminated between me and a ‘new business’ client when i was at the store for a second consecutive day in a row. I had been there the previous day to pay my account which was suspended because they decided in the past year or so that my debit can’t be done anymore because it is debited from a name different to the name on my account. They took my payment as i stood in the queue and I specifically asked them to unblock it asap for i had a series of important business calls to make. It was not done. I went to the store again the next day with my receipt of payment and wrote a note for the security guard to remind them to unblock it. He returned to say that the sales lady (Sherry Davidson) was just busy with a client but that she will see me directly afterwards. After a 30min wait, she did come to the front door but ignored me and the security guard and requested a couple from the back of the line whom she referred to as ‘new business clients’, to go inside with her instead. This offends me and it goes against their ethics on how customers should be treated. I called 135 for 3 days in a row but the voice automated message tells me that the network is experiencing high call volumes or temporary network failure issues so I could not resolve it there. I emailed customer care but with the information breaches on their system it is not possible to resolve this via email and nobody from management can pick up the phone and call me. I am still not able to conduct or conclude the business that i was busy with before i got cut off the network and this means a loss of revenue for me not to mention the frustration and risk of being without a phone on the road or with the kids! Judging from the millions of unattended complaints that they have on Hellopeter, i am guessing that this is also pointless in terms of a response or resolution from MTN but at least the next consumer can make an informed decision about which network provider to go with.
During the time of the looting recently, we were forced to shop at whichever shop was open and stocked. Even so, we had to make compromise on certain products and brands that we normally buy for there was limited resources at our disposal. Anyhow, we bought a brick of Parmalat Gouda Cheese and found that it was very crumbly when we cut or grate it. I located the contact details of the holding company and my constructive complaint was immediately and professionally handled. The complaint was helpful because there was indeed a problem with the blend at the factory and this could then be remedied. They refunded me with a voucher to replace my product. I call this a Win/win.
My decision to buy these products was purely based on the descriptions advertised on the packaging of the Hask Argan Oil Repairing Shampoo, Hask Argan Oil Repairing Conditioner and the Hask Blue Chamomile & Argan OIl 5-in1 Leave In Spray and because of the reputation of the store being a well known and reputable store (Clicks, Meerensee, Richards Bay, South Africa). The promise is along the lines of leaving hair looking shiny and healthy and more manageable in general. However, after several attempts at using all three of these products religiously and as directed on the packaging, I am terribly disappointed that I spent this money on these products because these products did not do any of the things that it said it would do. Totally the opposite happened. My hair became untouchable, brittle, dull, more damaged and completely unmanageable. This is false advertising and it is shameful to con people out of their money by using false advertising text just to sell a product and a leading chain store like Clicks should be more attentive to ensuring that they investigate their suppliers a little better before they stock their shelves with products that are no good.
