Shout Out in Honour of the Gift of the Givers
I would like to give a big shout out to the Gift of the Givers. Their past, current and future help an assistance towards those in need is highly appreciated. You have reach out to be there for others and sometimes even you go through difficulties but that doesnt stop you from doing your best to others. You are special. Your work is inspirational. And one day i hope i can be one of you helping people in need. To see the change, you need to be the change. You deserve a 10 million star.

Shout Out in Honour of the Gift of the Givers

Gift of the Givers false promises
What a buch of ******. Started on the 1st of January. This number +27661784918 kept on calling me. Eventaullay taken the call. You have been selected for a price. Their donors suggested giving people something back. First your points must be 100. I had 88. Originally i was suppose to pay R220 then it was R320. I took a change paid it. Got 3 dms wigh my so called prices. Ohh but the yhe voucher numbers are there but yhe pin has ony 2 or 3 digits with stars on the rest. Ohh you need a donars reference number before they give the rest of the codes. For that you need a donation of just " R250 up to R5 000" then thd rest of the codes eill be given. I thought wow what a bargain. My prices was R5000 Checkers voucher. R3500 cash voucher from Std bank and a Samsung frigde freezer. My freezer packed up due to load shedding and this made my day just to realize it is al a ****. It

Grateful for the work of Gift of the Givers
Words fail me. I'm sure many could not be assisted even though Gift of the Givers may wish to assist everyone. I have a positive ending to my story. For this I am grateful. I too was told that if I did not hear from them within 2 weeks, to consider my request unsuccessful. But GOG fulfilled my request within a day. The organization depend on donations. By God's grace, on that particular day, a wheelchair must have become available because it was a huge request. To have received it within 1 day from asking could only have been the Hand of God through the organization, Gift of the Givers. I am still in shock at the professionalism and care displayed.

KZN Floods 2022
This team was instrumental in providing relief assistance for the effected communities and worked very hard along with Emergency and Rescue units to recover people, property and infrastructure during the KZN floods this April 2022.

Food hampers decline..dont publicize when you can't assist?
Disappointed as i requested assistance for food hampers as i have 2 elderly people in my home and my son was tested positive for Covid, i had no money to buy any food to help us get through this . My husband and daughter lost their jobs due to covid and the unrest. Dont see why they be given so much publicity for when people are desperate and left on their knees without assistance is a huge disappointment, I only asked as we are going through a really hard time and having a covid patient that needed to be taken care of with some sort of food. It saddens me to see why was it so hard just to help a family out for atleast a meal. To be turned down was something i didn't expect and really disappointed.

Gift of the Givers - Exposed themselves!
A single mom from Surwood Walk, Hanover Park whose house burnt down, approached Gift of the Givers for assistance. The very humane response from Gift of the Givers is we cannot help a single individual, we only assist when it’s several houses that burnt down. I guess Gift of the Givers won’t get enough credit and publicity from helping a single mom! Well done, now now know who they really are and what they stand for!
