The most amazing staff giving the incredible conveyancing service one needs when selling one's own home. They are so professional yet friendly & terribly efficient as one would expect.
THE Mercedes Benz experts in the Western Cape on anything electrical including software problems. Simply amazing knowledge and expertise. Even Merc dealers use them!! Such nice people and fantastic service.
They certainly live up to "The Golden Rule". Not just lip service. In this day & age of very poor service in all spheres, Golden Rule Motors stand out for truly excellent service & genuine good manners. They couldn't solve my Mercedes' B200 software problem, so they didn't charge me for the investigation work but referred me to Car Electric in Montague Gardens, Cape Town.
Solar 4 Africa & Solar For Africa sent me 1 x 100W Solar Panel. They should have sent 1 x 200W Solar Panel. Was it a mistake.? If so, please own up and send me the equipment I paid for. Solar 4 Africa & Solar For Africa sent me 1 x 100Ah Battery. They should have sent me 2 x 100Ah Batteries. Was it a mistake.? If so, please own up and send me the equipment I paid for. Solar 4 Africa & Solar For Africa did not send me the cabling which was promised. Was it a mistake.? If so, please own up and send me the equipment I paid for. All I am asking Solar 4 Africa & Solar For Africa to do is send me the equipment that I paid for on 21 December 2020. Why have are you no longer communicating with me? The equipment that I received on 11 January 2021 are in the photos below. That is positive proof of what I received.
Today is 1st February 2021. Mr Trietsch on behalf of Solar 4 Africa has still not done anything at all to honour our legal contract. He still refuses to supply the 200w solar panel, a 100ah battery and the necessary solar cables & connectors and refund the R650.00 courier fee. For the second time he has removed me as a Contact on his WhatsApp. This he did at about 10h05 on 26 January 2021. So he is refusing to accept my messages and therefore he is not responding to them. Maybe hoping I will just go away? Well, that is not going to happen. I have sent all WhatsApp messages to him by email as well as many photos as proof of my claim. He has never responded to any of my emails. I fact the last email he sent was on 21/12/2020 which was his invoice. I think that was the only email I have ever received from him.
SOLAR 4 AFRICA BUSINESS REVIEW JANUARY 2021 Business Name as per Invoice:- Solar 4 Africa (this is not to be confused with Solar For Africa which is based at 720 Ella St, Rietfontein, Pretoria, 0084 South Africa and Tel.No: 012 329 7355) Facebook has Solar 4 Africa@ solarforafrica. Is there a tie-up here? Business Address as per Invoice:- Tyron, Tyron T, Edenvale, Gauteng 1426, South Africa Business Address as per website:- Our Head Office Is Based In Johannesburg Gauteng South Africa Bank Name:- Capitec Bank Name of Account:- T.D. Trietsch Website Address:- www. solar4africa.co.za Email Address:- sales@solar4africa.co.za (answered only by Mr Tyron Trietsch) Tel:- 081 525 3464 (answered only by Mr Tyron Trietsch). The business appears to have no other contact numbers or details. Address where Couriers can collect goods:- 20 Welkom Street, Klopper Park, Germiston 1426 (same postal code as the Edenvale address). The people at this office are Janet & Warren or there could also be a Jenni. Mr Trietsch declined to give me their telephone/cell/mobile/VOIP contact number. It would seem that Solar 4 Africa is not registered as a (Pty) Ltd Company or a Limited (Public) Company, a Franchise or a Partnership. So it is probably an unregistered Sole Proprietorship. On 21 December 2020 I, Adrian Harland entered into a supply Contract with Solar 4 Africa/ Mr Trietsch to buy a 2kW Complete Solar Power System Portable Sub-Station valued at R12,900 as per the website – see below. On 21 December 2020 I paid the Invoice # Ariaan the full amount including R650.00 for Mr Trietsch to organise, as agreed, a Courier to transport the goods to me in Somerset West. By Thursday 7 January 2021 it was clear, from my enquiries, that Mr Trietsch had done nothing to arrange a Courier service. Mr Trietsch refused to give me the Waybill/Collection/Account number etc for the service he said he had organised. The Courier Company he said that he had contracted with knew neither his name or his business name. Mr Trietsch then told me to arrange my own Courier which I did and the goods arrived promptly on Monday 11 January 2021. The goods I received were Thus Mr Trietsch supplied a system some R5,900 less than the one ordered and paid for and no solar cables, connectors etc were included which he told me they supplied with every such order. So I did not get a “Complete Solar Power System”. Mr Trietsch was advised on 11 January 2021 of the shortfall in equipment. I furnished him with innumerable photos, messages on WhatApp and emails and email copies of all his and my WhatsApp messages in support of my case. Mr Trietsch has never answered any on my many emails and has, for the second time, removed me from his phone’s list of contacts. Thus he is not receiving my WhatsApp messages. In spite of me asking Mr Trietsch for proof (eg. security video etc) of the content of his WhatsApp messages, he has failed to produce anything at all. It is now time to take this matter to the National Consumer Commission & it’s Ombudsman as well as lodge a claim with the Small Claims Court. TO DATE, 29 JANUARY 2021 Mr Trietsch HAS REFUSED TO HONOUR OUR LEGAL CONTRACT. HE HAS REFUSED TO SUPPLY THE 200W SOLAR PANEL, A 100Ah BATTERY AND THE NECESSARY SOLAR CABLES & CONNECTORS AND REFUND THE R650.00 COURIER FEE.
DO NOT TOUCH SOLAR 4 AFRICA OR Mr TYRON TRIETSCH (Owner) The Solar System that I ordered and paid for from SOLAR 4 AFRICA/Mr TYRON TRIETSCH on 21 December 2020 was the 2kW Complete Portable Sub-Station Solar Power System valued at R12,900.00 and this according to the web site and WhatsApp messages should have consisted of the following:- 1 x 200W Solar Panel. 1 x 20A Regulator. 2 x 100Ah Batteries. 1 x 2000W Pure Sine Wave Inverter. 10m of 4mm Solar Cable Red. 10m of 4mm Solar Cable Black. 10m of 4mm Solar Grounding cable. MC4 Connectors, Battery Cables (Red & Black) of suitable length, various Lugs, battery connectors, fuses, fuse holders, Cables (Red & Black) to connect to the Inverter. In other words a Complete Kit ready to be assembled & commissioned. The goods that were delivered to me were:- 1 x 100W Solar Panel. 1 x 20A Regulator (Solar Charge Controller). 1 x 100Ah Battery with Dual Red & Black connector pods. 1 x 2000W Pure Sine Wave Inverter not in a box and without a Manual. 2 x Battery Cables (Red & Black) of 50cm length with bulldog clips. 4 x Fuses. I notice that prices and specifications of his Portable Sub-Station systems are different to that on his website. So you don’t know what you will get when the system is delivered to you. Another reason why you should not do business with this company. The battery I received is a Leoch BCI 31AT-800 12V 100Ah AUTOMOTIVE battery which will last 1-3 months if used in a solar application. It is totally the wrong battery for any solar PV system. Tyron Trietsch offered (21 December 2020) to organise The Courier Guy to deliver the order to me. In spite of many assurances from him nothing arrived and both The Courier Guy & their express delivery company Xpress Online Courier had no record of ever dealing with Solar 4 Africa or Mr Tyron Trietsch. On 4 January 2021 Mr Tyron Trietsch asked me to organise a courier at my expense and he would refund me the R650.00 courier fee paid on the invoice. As of 15 January 2021 I have not received the refund. Mr Tyron Trietsch has not responded to my email and WhatsApp messages sent 11 – 15 January 2021. My courier, Star Express, delivered the goods to my address in Somerset West on Monday 11 January 2021. SOLAR 4 AFRICA OR Mr TYRON TRIETSCH can be contacted on email sales@solar4africa.co.za or Cell & WhatsApp: 081 525 3464 or https://www.solar4africa.co.za. His invoice has his address as Solar 4 Africa, Tyron, Tyron T, Edenvale, Gauteng 1426, South Africa. The pickup address is 20 Welkom Street, Klopper Park, Germiston 1426 (same post code as for the Edenvale address!!).
Over the past 6 years of having a 10kVa Victron-based solar PV system at my house I have learnt a lot about this type of electricity generation system. I have met many installers & other people in the industry and used the services of a few starting with the only (in March 2015) Somerset West Installer at The Interchange who I would never recommend to anyone who wants an honest, fully knowledgeable & experienced team with a good “after sales service” and who is prepared to rectify their mistakes eg.as high as R100,000.00 or more due to setting up the Quattro incorrectly. Just by talking to Installers one can soon tell if they have the necessary knowledge & experience. Many of them don’t. Recently I came across David Brunette of Solar Advice and his team (I do not know & have not dealt with anyone else in Solar Advice). What a pleasure. Here is someone who knows Victron equipment inside out and backwards and Victron is the best or certainly one of the best and excellent value for money. He and his team are really professional, nice, pleasant people and will go out of their way to give outstanding service before, during and after installation. 5 Star Service. Their prices are probably the best in the Western Cape. They do not load the price. Incredible value for money.
