Sabat Batteries ( Eastern Cape- PE office) Feedback on Service – Omar & Supa Quick Port Alfred / Concern About Parts Man Motorspares I would like to thank Omar, the SABAT representative, for his excellent and professional service, as well as Supa Quick Port Alfred for handling my warranty claim correctly and efficiently. My SABAT battery failed and a Midtronics test clearly showed “REPLACE BATTERY” with a measured 159 CCA on a 590 CCA battery, indicating internal failure. I first went to Parts Man Motorspares, where I originally purchased the battery. Despite the test result, they refused to replace the battery, insisted it should just be “charged”, and refused my request to contact the SABAT rep. Because of this, I decided to contact SABAT’s regional office myself. The office assistant was very professional and helpful and provided me with Omar’s contact number. From that point everything changed. Omar was professional from the word go. He immediately took ownership of the situation, phoned Supa Quick Port Alfred, and by the time I arrived there the replacement battery was already arranged. Supa Quick performed their own battery test, which again confirmed internal failure, and the battery was swapped under warranty without any hassle. This is exactly the kind of service that builds confidence in the SABAT brand. Thank you to Omar, the regional office assistant, and the Supa Quick Port Alfred team. However, I am seriously concerned about the conduct of Parts Man Motorspares. Their: refusal to accept a clear “REPLACE BATTERY” test result, insistence on “charging” a failed battery, and refusal to even contact the SABAT rep when asked show a lack of understanding of battery diagnostics and SABAT’s warranty process. This not only wastes customers’ time and money, but also risks damaging the SABAT brand. I strongly recommend that Parts Man Motorspares either receives proper training on SABAT/First National Battery warranty procedures, or that their status as an official SABAT stockist is reconsidered to prevent future harm to your brand reputation. Once again, thank you to Omar and Supa Quick Port Alfred for resolving the matter quickly and professionally.
The service of ADT have change over the last few year from acceptable to pathetic. We had a break in's twice over the last month. The first time the alarm went off only 10 minutes after they broke the door open and entered! Thus the armed response was too late and more than R6000 worth of children's bicycles was stolen, the officer on the scene said they will report it and let a technician investigate as well as bring a report. Still waiting for the report till today... The second time they broke in the alarm failed completely to go off! We then phoned the Brits office, reported the incidents to them again and asked the manager that was not available to contact us. He phoned a few days later once and the call did not came through and then did not even to bother to phone me back again at a later stage. Eventually we phoned the office again, then only did he phoned me back. He came out the Thursday, investigated the alarm and suggested that they will install a new type of panel, as the reception signal is only 25%! He came then the Monday to install it, just later find out that apparently the new panel did not made any difference to the signal reception. I had to contact him again to drag out the information of what now? Then more promises that another technician would come and install something else... Another day passed.. another week maybe will pass... who knows... Left a voice note to the manager to inform him that I will be writing this complaint today on Hello Peter if he did not come back to me in a reasonable time line to resolve the issue... Guess what.. Surprise surprise NO RESPONSE, JUST LIKE HIS ALARMS.... NO RESPONSE... Very easily taking my money when I had to install the alarms and taking my money every month but when there is something wrong with your systems, a no care attitude. So much for caring for a family's safety! Shame on you ADT! I wish I had Wahl Bartmann's email to send him a email of what is really going on in his company!!
Well Done to Tukedi Pitsi ,Claims Operations – Non Drivable Team Manager. She turned a horrible experience into a rescue mission and gave excellent, friendly service and up to the minute feedback. If only Momentum had more staff like her!
From hero to ZERO! More than 25yrs of experience with insurance companies and have been a broker myself , this is definitely the MOST PATHETIC service I have ever had! Shame on you Momentum, for taking my premiums and dishonoring your commitment and promises! Yes, I have first went through all the channels to highlight my concerns, which turned into complaints, I have emailed Momentum complaints. I even received an automated Complain number COM****8095. Talked to managers, more promises after promises. All lies and more lies and more lies... Just excuses that the pandemic has effected them blah blah blah...Not one promise have been kept up to date! My car was stolen on the 13th of January 2021, Tracker recovered it and took it to the police pound. It took more than a week, and lots of calls , emails and more calls, pleading and begging for Momentum to recover it and to take it to their assessment centre. It took a couple of days for them to arrange a hire car as well. Now another week have passed and still NO ASSESSMENT REPORT OR ANY REPAIRS HAVE BEEN DONE so far on the car... Again emails , calls and more calls still no feedback... I surely hope that a Manager or Director will see this review and do something positive. My CLAIM NUMBER IS CP213097. Otherwise it just so sad to see another big company going down the drain, frankly speaking I will not shed a tear if Momentum close it doors soon, the way they treat customers so never mind, no care , customer last , customer can wait attitude ...it might be sooner than later. I have no confidence in them what so ever. The consultant Onwaba Ngcipe, get my vote for the worst consultant. I can only hope for a miracle that my car will be fixed soon. As to wait for Momentum is a lost case, you will get the vaccine for Covid 19 sooner!
