Be very careful when opting for a rent to buy vehicle from Rentadeal. They will look for any loopholes to deduct charges from your deposit that was paid. I paid a R15,000 deposit as a requirement which formed part of the rental agreement with Rentadeal. Due to unfortunate circumstances, I was unable to pay the monthly rental on the 1st. of the month. The vehicle was collected on the 14th of the month. However, they deducted a full month's rental as well as an exorbitant amount for collection fee. People be very very careful with Rentadeal - there are some reputable Rent to Own companies out there.

I rented a vehicle from the Rent a Deal Division on a rent to buy option. A R15,000 deposit was required and paid as part of the rental agreement. They collected the vehicle on the 14th of the month as I was unable to make payment on the 1st of the month as per the contract. However, they deducted a full month's rental from my deposit as well (even though the vehicle was collected on the 14th) as well as a fee of R2,500 for collection fee. Reading previous reviews, it appears this company will add any additional charges not to refund their clients their deposits that were paid. People please be very careful when renting vehicles from this company - there are some reputable vehicle rental companies out there.
