Beach Bums, your NYE event was TERRIBLY underwhelming and disappointing. Myself and 3 others paid for an event that had so many pathetic rules. For example, your food menu was only narrowed down to pizzas only, and your drinks menu was boring and extremely limited. The queue to get drinks was always painfully long, and I thought this wouldn't happen due to you guys partnering up with Howler to eliminate queues?. At one point, your drinks bar ran out of coolers that MANY PEOPLE were buying CONTINOUSLY. How do you organize a NYE party and run out of a popular cooler that many people enjoy? Embarrassing. On our arrival, I ASKED the women at the entrance if we were allowed IN AND OUT of the event for the night, to which she said YES, BUT from around 8:30-9pm, we were ushered around at the entrance and were told that we couldn't go to our vehicles due to other people drinking in their cars and returning to the event, and that if we leave the building, we wouldn't be allowed back inside? How is that our problem? We didn't pay R260 each to be treated like prisoners. Also, after 11pm, your toilets randomly became 'VIP MEMBERS ONLY'. Why was this not disclosed in your adverti*****t for the NYE event? Disgusting. I had such high expectations for this event however, I will NEVER return to celebrate another NYE event at Beach Bums ever again. MONEY AND TIME WASTED.
I picked up my PAXI parcel from the Westwood PEP branch in Durban and the parcel was CUT OPEN and TORN before I received it. The store manager, Nosipho Nigidi, could not justify why the parcel was open before I picked it up. I am extremely dissatisfied and upset with the service from PEP Westwood. The staff have absolutely NO RIGHT to open customers PAXI parcels. I refuse to deal with this store from now on due to the untrustworthy staff. I have also posted my complaint on Facebook and Hello Peter.
Review for Clicks (Westwood Mall branch) Saw a product on the 3 for 2 sale today and decided to buy it. Get to the till point to purchase them and the total reflects the ORIGINAL price and NOT the 3 for 2 special. The cashier then called Nomfundo (the manager) to 'rectify' the issue, however Nomfundo had a terrible attitude and COULD NOT give me the items that SUPPOSED TO BE on special because the SYSTEM rang it up at full price. Nothing was rectified and no apology was given from them either. Pathetic manager, pathetic service. Will not be returning.
