I'm very disappointed on how we're ripped off by AA warranties. We took a warranty cover with them and we never missed any monthly payments, but currently we have a problem regarding fixing the car water pump. We tried to put up a claim with them but they keep on saying that the water pump falls under wear and tear items while the policy documents clearly indicate that AA covers water pump repairs. We're heartbroken and disappointed to be treated this way as we have been very loyal customers to AA warranties. This is not a way of making money by robbing customers of their money. N.B. Be careful of such warranties with good looking documents in writing but with no good rewards when. you need the services you purchased from them!! Dissatisfied and disappointed, Pietermaritzburg
Dear Sir/Madam My heart sank when I went to Mayors Walk Post Office in KwaZulu Natal,Pietermarirzburg for my certificate collection. The package envelope was dirty with a lot of criss/folds so as the certificate in the envelope. It was written by CPUT i.e: the sander that they must not fold the envelope but Post Office workers still folded the envelope. When I complained to the Mayors Walk Post office worker, he told me that there is nothing they can do as the packages come in a bundle i must go and laminate my certificate. When I asked for the manager to address the issue, I was told that he's not there. SA Post Office please look into this matter as I fear that this can still happen to many people. I'm disappointed about how we were treated with disrespect and dishonesty by the above-mentioned filling known as Engen /Hlophe motors on Edendale road in Pietermarirzburg. A petrol attendant called Sphe attended to our car on the 19 June 2021 at 16h11. He filled petrol and topped up the oil. After kilometers of driving from the filling station, the car lost power and displayed EPC light on the dash board. We parked the car at home as we didn't not wanna cause any damage to the car Engen and then hurried up to the filling station to report the matter. We were attended by the petrol attendant's immediate supervisor called Mbali Hadebe who was very rude and showed no interest in taking the responsibility of solving the problem . One of the superiors of Mbali Hadebe joined the meeting after some time her and Mbali promised to bear all the necessary cost, including car towing,inspection and diagnosis at VW dealership in Pietermarirzburg. The diagnosis came out to be an oil cap missing causing the car to jerk. We communicated the findings to Mbali Hadebe who gave us the attitude and it became evident to us that the agreement we had with them in terms of bearing the cost has changed as they promised that they'll sort out the problem if the fault was with them. We then received a message ordering us to send the proof of car diagnosis,invoice and banking details as the filling station manager wanted to pay according to Mbali but to date we haven't received anything and we haven't heard anything from them. It's evident to us that they are running away from their responsibilities and what they promised. We hope that Engen brand will intervene in such situations as these people are using their brand to ill-treat and disrespect client in this manner.
Dear Sir/Mam I went to collect my car from Automagic who is working with Global Hail in Pietermarirzburg on Victoria Street. When I got there the care yop cover was tampere with. The Global Hail staff called Phillip Van Rensburg was very rude when he was asked to fix the car top cover he tampered with. He was violent and was came close to us with mask off ,no social distance or anything from him. He also informed his employer over the phone not to take any complaints from us. Can the insurances please look into this, not to refer clients to people who put treat clients with disrespect of that manner. We also urge panelbeaters not to work with people of such unprofessional behaviour. I believe that when you try to fix a car as panelbeater and you happen to tamper with something,you need to take responsibility for your actions ,not to to tell clients lies that nothing was tampered with while you actually did destroy other car parts. Phillip was very rude and unprofessional,therefore we left the car at the panelbeater as we couldn't take it with the top cover not fixed as with was when we brought the car in for repairs.
