Refused to refund a deposit of almost R40000
We saw this company had good reviews and decided to use them to assist us in moving our pets from SA to NZ. After not delivering on commitments we decided to cancel the contract. We paid a deposit of almost R40000 which they will not refund. Our lawyers sent the sheriff to serve them with a summons and that’s when we found the address listed on their website does not exist. I’ve noticed that all the 1 star reviews from other customers who had the same experience were deleted by hellopeter. I ask that you read the GOOGLE REVIEWS on the 1stars

City Power Fault Logging Broken
I've logged 3 calls to have street lights fixed and they're all closed with no work done or any responses. I'll repeatedly reopen the call to advise them as such and after around the 5th escalation it's closed permanently

Wonderfully Competent
They really were impressive. I switched ISP's when I moved into a new place, and within a couple of hours they had me up and running, they were very helpful and efficient. I have nothing but praise for them

Negligence At Best
I applied for a change of ownership on an account at the branch in Sandton City (next to Checkers) and didn't hear a word from them for 5 months. I attempted to contact the branch by calling their number and after numerous attempts I'm yet to actually have someone pick up. After picking up the hint that they weren't big on answering phones (ironic for a store peddling phones) I decided to contact the customer care centre to see if they perhaps had a way of reaching these elusive individuals. This proved fruitful as I was able to get some email correspondence going. Alas my dreams of giving MTN money were dashed yet again, as they have decided the best approach to my queries is to ignore them and just tell me to resubmit. I must admit that their tactic for avoiding escalation is quite brilliant. I naively assumed that asking to speak to a supervisor or manager might help to get some traction on correspondence. Their brilliant representative saw right through that and ignored that request as well. I'll give them one thing, they are very consistent in their almost tragic levels of service
