If you value your time, money, and sanity, avoid this company at all costs! Last November, I called them to fix my Defy washing machine. The technician, Abraham, immediately raised red flags by recklessly turning the machine on its side to replace the drain pump and carbon brushes. When the machine made a strange noise after his "repair," he dismissed it, claiming it would disappear after a few washes. It didn’t—it got WORSE. Two weeks later, water started leaking, and the mains tripped during a load. Abraham came back and conveniently blamed "damaged bearings" and a "cracked drum," which were NOT issues before his intervention. He refused to repair the bearings, claiming the drum was "glued" and required a full replacement. Seriously? He promised to check for replacement parts but never followed up. I had to chase him and eventually contacted the office, where I spoke to Villy. She promised to help but was equally ***********, offering excuse after excuse—holidays, supplier issues, etc. Days turned into weeks, then months. At one point, Abraham claimed he'd loan me a machine while they sorted this out, but unsurprisingly, that never happened. By January, my sister followed up for me, and Villy outright ****, claiming she’d discussed second-hand parts with me (she hadn’t). No one took accountability for their mistakes, and my machine remains broken to this day. They broke my appliance, wasted my money, and then ghosted me. This company is a disgrace. They take your money, ruin your appliance, and leave you high and dry. Save yourself the headache and find a real professional—not these ****mers.
I recently took out a new car insurance policy and had the pleasure of speaking with agent Anzani Tshirema. Initially, I wasn’t entirely convinced, as there were certain aspects of the policy that I felt were missing. However, Anzani quickly arranged for the Senior Consultant, Ms. V. Naidoo, to step in, and she suggested a solution that perfectly suited my needs. Mr. Tshirema and Ms. Naidoo were professional, friendly, and attentive, ensuring I felt comfortable with my decision. Thanks to their assistance, I now have a policy that fits my budget while giving me the coverage I need. I truly appreciate their excellent customer service and would recommend them to anyone looking for a seamless insurance experience! The only issue I have is that when I received my policy, I noticed some discrepancies in the captured information. It’s possible that a poor network connection caused misinterpretation.
Extremely poor customer service. I placed an order and received half of the items. Some items received were also old stock e.g. mold on bread. I have logged a ticket via email and to date have not received any feedback. I also chatted to the support via the app. Turnaround times for responses is pathetic. I eventually received a message saying that a refund would be processed on 4th Feb 2021 9:31am but to date have not received any refund. I contacted the store directly and spoke to Mduduzi at Rand Steam PnP. He was unable to assist and referred me back to the app. After several phone calls to him, he eventually gave me Mbalenhle's contact number from Bottles. I spoke to her and she advised that she will investigate and revert back to me. To date I have not received any responses. I tried calling the number back but it now goes to voicemail.
