Stood in a queue for 3 hours on Saturday morning after getting there early and being 5th in the line. All we needed to do was collect a new bank card and had to go through this - with the most relaxed Covid regulations I have seen in a while (Beacon Bay, East London). Why is it that we can have a credit card delivered to a home address but can't do this for a debit card?
Asked to have a custom ring made from my mother’s old wedding ring (14ct gold). Was told that some gold is lost in the melting process so I won’t be getting any leftover gold back which I agreed to.After picking the ring up and being disappointed with how all the diamonds had been set and the fact that it was the wrong thickness, I took the ring back a few weeks later as I only noticed then it had been stamped 9ct. Then a different sales person told me that they don’t actually melt rings anymore and the gold is new. They insisted it was a workshop error and had the ring re-stamped 14ct. But didn’t provide any proof, any evaluation certificate or anything. Today my wife sends me a photo that the diamonds have started falling out. So now thanks to Dennis Collins, I have lost my moms original gold from her ring, as well as her main diamond which fell out of my wife’s new ring. I wouldn’t trust these people with anything ever again and am extremely angry at the whole ordeal.
