The ower Charles Matondora has no business ethics. Don't watse your time and money. This company shows complete disregard for its customers and provides terrible service. I hired them to do my kitchen, despite their quote being R2,000 higher than other companies, because they promised to start immediately. I paid them R19,000, but two weeks later, no work has been done. After weeks of empty promises, they are now demanding more money to install the kitchen countertops. I've given them plenty of chances to complete the job, and when I requested a refund, they refused. As a result, my bank has been contacted, and a case will be opened with the police. I highly advise against using their services.
Vehicle Stock code: 04D450574 I queried on AutoTrader's website on the 09th of July for the above mentioned vehicle which was advertised for R304,900. I later received a call from WeBuyCars to confirm the vehicle was available but listed for R402,900. I advised the agent I would go to the branch the following day to view and query. Later on that day I received another call from the Midstream branch from a sales person called Adrian, surname unknown. I advised him again about the price and that I will be coming to view the vehicle as discussed. On the 10th July, I met with Adrian at the Midstream branch and I advised him that the price was not correct as the vehicle has a badge that was a X5 50d not X5 30d. I showed him the advert and advised him that the price was incorrect. He later advised that the vehicle details were mixed and that the vehicle is a X5 30d and not X5 50d. I then again advised him that the price of R402,900 is incorrect and that the vehicles price is R304,900 as advertised. I advised Adrian that I would return on the 11th to test drive and do the final check. On the 11th of July, I returned to the branch and I inspected the vehicle again and requested to test drive. He then advised I would not be able to driver but sit as passenger, which I found strange. But I understood the reason he had said and accepted. Upon our return I advised Adrian again if he was certain that the price was right and there is a lot of work needed on the vehicle and the price has to be 100% accurate. I was not happy with his manner and the way he spoke, I then suggested to speak to the manager as I wanted final confirmation from the manager. Adrian was very resistant to get the manager to come see me. After roughly 15-30 minutes later. Victor Da Silva met with me and I asked him if this price was correct and as per the advert the vehicle was priced at R304,900 and not R402,900. Victor Da Silva then advised that the vehicle was going for revaluation as there was a mistake in the price. Here I was left extremely confused and frustrated by the fact that after countless requests to confirm the vehicle price I was told that “it is what it is” yet the manager just confirmed within a few minutes that the price indeed was incorrect and needed to be re-evaluated. We ended our discussion and Adrian confirmed to get back to me on Monday the 12th of July with the details on service history and corrected price after the re-evaultion. On 12th of July, I contacted Adrian at 12h35 to which he advised that the revaluation was not done yet and that he had not obtained the service history yet. He said he would let me know the following day (13th July). During this entire process, I kept requesting for the vehicle to be reserved as I was interested in the purchase but would need to have the correct price to conclude on the vehicle finance. Early on the 13th of July, after trying to get reassurance that the car would be available and be reserved for myself did Adrian advise to put down a R5K deposit. I requested for the banking details to complete the deposit.. Moments later, Adrian confirmed that the car had been sold. After wasting 3 days of my time the salesperson had no common sales practice to inform me that there was another buyer interested in the vehicle? If this was the case in point, I would have made a deposit in order to secure the vehicle. Webuycars truly has no customer service! I will never recommend or deal with Webuycars in the future.
