I bought a number of lights from them over black Friday.... a week later they come to me and say they have no stock of any of the lights I purchased, their refund process will also now take time and the whole time they are earning interest from mine and I am sure many other peoples money. I believe it is ********* to sell goods online, take the money for 2-3 weeks. Possibly even ******* as an offer was made by them (online) offer was accepted by me, money exchanged hands and only now do they come to say they cannot fulfill their side unless I pay them more money. Will also be reporting them to the consumer protection folks. Would strongly advise against doing business with them.
I have paid for an inverter that Rubicon Port Elizabeth said they had in stock. On arrival they then told me there was now no stock but they would order from East London and it would be here Monday at the latest, it was now Thursday. I expressed that there was urgency and hence me choosing the model they said they had in Port Elizabeth On Monday I called and emailed to try find out what was happening and was informed on the phone that my inverter had arrived and they were just registering the serial numbers before I could collect. They would "contact me for collection" It is now Tuesday and I am now told that in fact they have only just processed my procurement order and hopefully it would be here Wednesday. This, I am told was due to unforseen circumstances. When questioned why I was told my order was here on Monday but now its no longer here I was told that was actually someone elses order and not mine. So long story short they have accepted my money on the understanding that it was urgent hence me ordering the unit they said they had in stock, and then it seems did nothing more about that order for another 5 days. So here I sit out of pocket and still no inverter in sight. would strongly advise against using this company if there is any timeframe that you need to be followed.
I had a flight booked with Mango Airlines from Port elizabeth to joburg on the 7th April 2021, on arrival for checkin I was informed that the flight was delayed. I had a connecting international flight in johannesburg that would be missed due to their delay. I asked why since the delay was due to an aircraft having a technical problem in joburg earlier that day nobody had contacted me to inform me of the delay so I could evaluate whether I should make other arrangements for travel but was told by their customer services desk that that had informed us by updating the boards in the terminal. Somehow when I tried to explain that this was not acceptable as I was already there it seemed to go over their heads and they just repeated saying that they had informed passengers by updating the boards. I did eventually receive an sms informing me of the delay, however it arrived 3 hours after the original departure time so too little too late in my opinion. As a result of this delay I had to book a last minute flight with safair but because the turnaround time to catch my international flight was so tight I had to leave my luggage behind which caused its own problems for the first 2 weeks of my travels and thousands of rands in dhl costs to get my bags to me. Mango help desk informed me that they would note that I had a connecting flight and that I should email the refunds department and they will refund my ticket price. This all seemed to go relatively smoothly as I received a response saying my refund was approved and it had been handed over to finance. After two weeks of still receiving no refund I sent an email to try get a follow up and was told that refunds take 7-14 working days to process. It is now almost a month and I still have not received any refund and all my emails to the refund department are now going unanswered. If somehow mango gets bailed out by our government (which is basically throwing money away) I will personally never fly with them again and I would strongly suggest others do the same.
Very poor service, would strongly advise against any property transactions involving Kaplan Blumberg Attorneys as the conveyancing attorneys. They dragged the registration process out far longer than was acceptable and then at the last moment delayed the registration by an extra month. They then wanted occupational rent on behalf of the owner even after the estimated registration date had passed by a month.
