Bryson was amazing, exeptional customer service skills and product knowledge. Really appreciated his service.
I was at the ilanga branch twice 02/01/2021 in need of two things. 1. I lost my phone and while trying to trace it I blocked my Apple ID and 2, I needed to check if I could qualify for an upgrade with either vodacom and Telkom. I went in the first time after 10 in the morning and I was gracefully assisted by the technical guy and he referred me to go to the sales team for the contract part. I was informed that I did not qualify for an upgrade with Telekom. I left the shop and went for assistance with Vodacom so that they can increase my credit score and do a sim swap for the lost phone. I returned to the store at about 14:40 after my sim swap was done and I firstly went to the technical guy to ask for assistance with my Apple Id and he advised me accordingly. Then I approached the sales consultant who assisted earlier in checking if I could qualify to upgrade. He advised that he was busy and he will attend to me after, and I did see that he had a device that he was busy with.m As I waited, other consultants continued to assist other customers, some even came after me. At about 14:55 the manager/supervisor started closing the doors, then I approached a free sales consultant to please assist and she advised me that they had already closed. I advised her that I was there long before the store closed and I am waiting for someone whom I spoke to earlier. Shen then said, I can continue waiting for him because for her to try and assist me it would take more than 30 minutes. Maybe he will try to assist me but according to her she was closed. After a few minutes the sales consultant emerged from the back where he had disappeared too for some time and went straight to the till point . The person I was with signaled him and he came, he also advised that they were closed, I asked him how come because I have been in the store waiting for him, he then said he had a customer at the time and he could not attend to me at the time and I should come back because for him to be able to check if I could upgrade it would take over 30 minutes because he has to actually capture the application and I needed all the documents for that. Surprisingly, that was not the case when he checked for me earlier for my Telkom upgrade. I told him that I reside in Polokwane and I do not have that luxury of having an Istore in that area hence I made the time to go there today and came back to try and resolve the problem in one day. The reason for me to narrate the whole story is for understanding. My BIG question is, can a store really be closed while there are customers still inside. Those customers who were buying accessories were assisted, but because my query would waste their time I was ignored. I felt profiled, maybe to them I looked like I did not have money so I was wasting their time. Is that fair? To make matters worse, the manager was there, she saw and heard some of the responses I got and quietly stood at the till points. I also work in customer service, and to my knowledge staff should serve all customers in the premises even after they have closed. Or is it different in Istore? I was greatly inconvinienced, and I would not go to that store again after the treatment I got. I may not spend as much as the "OTHER" customers but I spend my hard earned money. I have to sacrifice some things to afford that iphone and the brand ambassadors in the store treat me like this. They close their systems for their convenience, so that they can knock off early. Advised management firstly to have customer service, the staff will learn those behaviors and then be able to assist accordingly
I purchased a car cash recently (18/02/2021) at Wisdom Auto dealership in Johannesburg no38 Booysen street. Ever since that day I have not been happy with the service I have received because I stay in Polokwane and I cannot travel anytime soon to go there and enquire about a few things. I bought a 2017 Polo vivo that had 37000km on it at the time and it is a second hand car. I asked for the service book and they said they did not have it. I took the car and only a few days after it is signaling that it requires service, I tried to get in touch with the dealership and no one is answering my questions. with regards to the warranty of the car. I paid R108000 for the car and I am not getting my money's worth. The sales lady who assisted me (Meme) has since blocked me.
