I wouldn't trust this dealership with my big decision to buy a car. Well, not a used car, anyway. Management knew this would be the last sale this salesman would make; yet there was no to little supervision/ quality control. The invoice indicates '101 check', yet, a part as small as the rear window wiper had been falling apart (upon delivery). I had to spend R 1 700 to get the inside air to blow properly. I had to spend R800 to get the sliding door to align properly and to get the door sensor switch to work. I suspect the dealership/ salesman had the door replaced, for some reason, between viewing and delivery (they'll probably deny this). The vehicle reakes of cleaning chemicals that hadn't been rinsed. It persists, months after delivery. The used car sales manager did agree to have it attended to and had the vehicle taken for a valet service. I received it back with no improvement to the smell, AND the jack and tools removed. It took 3 weeks of me begging and threatening, to get the items returned to me. This resulted in loss of use of the vehicle, as it was bought for business purposes (I can't drive it without a jack and tools).
After a year, all 3 panic buttons stop working. Upon enquiring, Secura tells me, it's the batteries (coincidence; all 3 at once?), and I can't just replace them with any battery, it needs to ne THEIR battery. But no, they don't have; it's on order. So after a month (of not being able to use the panic buttons, of either 3 of us jaf an emergency, despite having paid R1000 per panic button), I ask the question. The answer, no, the batteries have not arrived. After two months, then 3 months, the answer is blunt: 'No, sorry'. So I escaled the issue and Vuala! They have batteries, but are you sitting down?...at R150 + VAT EACH! So I bought 3, out of desperation. This was 9 days ago; the one started working, after much back-and-forth and a 'technical issue' on their side was fixed, but still, no luck with the other two. I'm hoping their Ops is more organized, because, eish, if/when I have a crisis one day, please don't let it be the customer relations/ technical team thar answwrs my call!
Tracker phones me and insist on obtaining my personal details before they can state their business with me. Hallo, it's YOU who called ME! I am a Tracker customer, but how do I know, you're not a spam caller?
