This must be the worst GWM dealership in South Africa. That’s my experience at least anyway. I bought a Pseries bakkie in January this year and as I stayed in Edenvale, I had it serviced at Edenvale Haval. I drive about 3500/4000km a month so the bakkie gets service every 2/3months. The first service I had @edenvale Haval was in April this year. My tire pressure sensor has been going on intermittently since I bought the bakkie, didn’t bother me. The service consultant told me there was a problem and they would make a warranty claim to have it repaired. They had it on their diagnostics machine and said it’s the the receiver of tps sensor not and actual sensor. Would take a few weeks to get it from china. Not an issue as I said it didn’t bug me. I asked for it to be done at my next service which was in June/july. It went for the 80000km service and they “forgot” to change it. I didn’t complain and said it’s fine, do it at the cam belt service at 90000km service. Took the vehicle in for the cambelt service in September, reminded them about the tps receiver. Guess what? They didn’t do it. AGAIN! at this point I was getting a little irritated. The towards the end of October the service manager, Mark had the audacity to phone me and complain how he has a tps receiver on warranty that’s overdue. I laughed at him and asked if he knows how many times my vehicle has been there to have it fitted? He was rude and asked that I bring my bakkie in asap. I informed him that it’s due for a service and booked the following week which was the first week of November. The vehicle went in for the service and I was told not to worry it will get fitted for sure this time. Guess what? And this is the ultimate of their incompetence, they phoned me to say my bakkie is ready for collection. I asked has the tps problem been fixed? The answer to this simple question was astonishing. The service consultant informed me that they by accident fitted my tps receiver into another customers vehicle. 🤦♂️😖 how is this possible? The manger phoned me a few days earlier crying moaning that it’s overdue??? Ridiculous. Furious I drove there to collect my vehicle and demanded an explanation and a way forward. Mark ask me for a chance to fix this colossal stuff up and apologised profusely. I said it has to be done before December as I’m about to move to Pretoria. He insisted that he would give me a Curtesy vehicle and it would be done before end of November…. What Bs story that was. He must have been a salesman before he became service manager. They phoned me last week on 22 December! The part has arrived. Keep in mind I’ve already moved to Pretoria. I asked if they have a curtesy vehicle like Mark promised? They said yes they will have one for me. So I booked the vehicle for today, 29 December. Now this has dragged the whole year and I was hoping for a swift happy ending to this simple yet complicated problem. Got there 7:15 this morning. Went to book my bakkie in, asked for curtesy car… guess what? Don’t have one. They all know about it but nobody booked it for me. So I phoned mark, who is on holiday. I demanded a curtesy car. He had the audacity to say he is on holiday and I must just sit there and wait till they done!!!! ***!! I demanded yet again that I get a car as I have things to do. The very nice workshop Foreman Duane, organised me a car form the used car lot. So after waiting 40mins I got the Jolion and left thinking finally this mess would get resolved. Here’s the kicker, they sent me a WhatsApp message at around 11:30 stating the following: “Good morning Mr. Muller , vehicle is done however , the issue isn't the receiver but the 2 rear sensors which need to be replaced . Tire sensors on the vehicle aren't the same and we don't have stock of the tire sensors . Should we go ahead and order the parts ? Kind regards , Muneiwa , Haval Edenvale” So to summarise, they tested it back April, said the sensors are fine and the receiver is the issue, ordered the receiver, gave it to someone else then ordered a new one again, fitted it 8months later just to realise that that was never the problem! Then still ask if they could order new sensors🤨 I don’t know who is running this ****show called Edenvale Haval, but my recommendation is to not deal with them when it comes to warranty repairs. Nightmare. Wanted my time and money today driving from Pretoria just shrug their shoulders and say sorry mr Muller. Next level Useless
Asked to move my start date up from the app and received a call almost instant. Great service
I changed banks in February, my new bank swopped my debit orders for me. A few of my accounts didn't go off as planned on the 1/03/2025. as i noticed it i paid it via eft. Makro Rcs decided to list my payment as a missed payment, not late but missed which is incorrect. The payment was made. I phoned them at least 10 times to follow up, i emailed and nothing. I phoned them to say i made a manual payment on the 6th of March, on the 15th they were still sending me messages that i didn't pay for march even though i send the proof of payment. this is ridiculous now listing it as a late payment and affecting my credit score. please correct this asap.
I realise that there is a **** doing the rounds with "Mac And Things Centurion" doing *****ulent transactions on people's bank accounts at firstly Capitec and then FNB, ABSA. My gripe with this is the following: I was quite lucky to have moved my funds over to my new bank account at a different bank as I plan to close my account at FNB (personal issues with FNB) anyways and this just reinforce my decision to move banks. I noticed that my current account went into the negative this weekend by -R99.99 . as I was trying to figure out what the charge was for as I've been waiting for delayed payments to go off so that the account can be at zero to close it finally, I noticed a suspicious transaction namely Mac And Things. A quick internet search let me to a article published on Friday 7 February 2025. I immediately reported the *****ulent transaction to FNB. they proceeded to cancel my card. then charged me a fee for the transaction as my balance was insufficient for the *****ulent transaction to go off in the first place... irony. So my question to FNB is the following, this was a "card transaction" made by a company that does not exist. How is it possible for this transaction to go through without me verifying the "purchase" with the two step verification for online purchases on the FNB app? I see banks are blaming Spotify and TEMU etc. my Spotify transaction went off 2 weeks prior to this transaction. I don't purchase from TEMU so it would be interesting to hear how this is or was possible. again, it was only R99.99 because I had no funds in my account. I Had a week before that over a 100K in that account. I peed my shorts just thinking how much they could've ****** from me. I see people are saying amounts of 1000 to 4500 that was taken. how is this possible without verifying the purchase?? Think FNB owes us an explanation.
I have recently exited debt review. I have been banking with FNB since 2016, and bought my house and cars through them. Before exiting debt review, I sold my house and paid back al the money owed to FNB, Car instalments were settled and all was good. Now that I am financially stabled again and would like to build my credit record up again, I would like to stick to the bank where I am banking, which is FNB. but seems like they don't give a damn about there clients. for months since exiting debt review successfully, FNB has been declining me for a credit card. I complained and ask what was the reason as i earn more that 58k a month, and current have minimal debt etc. turns out their debt review dept hasn't cleared me from debt review yet. after complaining about that it has been sorted. I even get loan offers from the FNB app and they have offered to my bank to Private banking... all this but they still decline me when I apply for a credit card. Why? What possible other reason could there be? you even offering me a loan. I'm not interested to up my banking fees if FNB wont give me a credit card. I'd rather move to standard bank where they already approved me for a credit card, which i might add is cheaper on bank fees than FNB. this is the last time now, if you can't give me a good reason for declining me repeatedly I'm moving banks.
I’ve completed the debt review process back in June of this year already, clearance certificate was send to capitec in June as well. Yet capitec still lists me as “under debt review” yet all the credit bureaus has removed that flag from my name. I went into a branch to go and find out what was going on and they simply raised their arms, and said capitec takes long to remove the clients from debt review. That’s pathetic. I send an email to the debt review department of capitec, they acknowledged the receipt of my mail, which included my clearance certificate… again. Yet a week has past and still no feedback. If this is the service you provide to customers who paid up their debt and didn’t run away, then I don’t want to bank with capitec anymore and neither does my wife. Your WhatsApp line is also useless. This is the automated response a week ago from capitec: Good day Thank you for your enquiry. An agent will respond to your enquiry shortly. Please provide the following reference number in all related future correspondence: Incident# 125101563 Kind regards Capitec Bank “An agent will respond to you shortly” I might die before I hear back from this bank.
I'm writing this review on behalf of my wife. I have been trying to access my two pot savings via old mutual and the service has been terrible. There WhatsApp system is the only way to apply for the money. I first tried 3 weeks ago. everything was accepted all documents they requested was submitted and all was good. Then a few days later the WhatsApp service indicated I had outstanding documents, So I phoned Old Mutual to find out what documents were needed. The person who's name I cant remember, said everything was fine. no documents were outstanding. so I waited. A week later I decided to follow up, the person I spoke to informed me that my application was cancelled due to documentation being incomplete. So I restarted the process again, and the same thing happened where on WhatsApp they informed me again that documents were outstanding. I uploaded the marriage certificate they requested. then waited again a few days and phoned again. the first person said they couldn't see the marriage certificate. then when I phoned again the next person said they could see it and that everything is fine and its in the next step of the process. This was last week. no confirmation that everything was fine nothing. and I keep getting different answers when I phone. I actually whish I could move my pension to a better company with better client service. I want this money to pay a Sars penalty. So time is of the essence.
I entered debt review 6 years ago due to some bad financial advice and then ultimately decisions from myself when i bought my first house. i went through the years paying the debt on time and the correct amount as was agreed upon in court. i have since paid of my credit card (absa) and personal loan(other bank) debt and sold my house to sort of hit a reset on my credit. As it goes, when you finish debt under the debt restructured plan with all the creditors, you receive a paid up letter which you forward to your debt councillor for record keeping purposes and to ultimately be able to remove your debt review flag from the credit bureaus once all debt has been paid of. Absa, is a nightmare! i have actually got credit by them on my two credit cards, due to the PDA system paying them whilst the debt was finished. ABSA in return need to refund me before they can give a paid up letter and close the account....since 2019!!! 5years later all my debt is cleared and I desperately want to restart my life, absa is holding me back. And to make matters worse, they listed me for "missed payments" for 4 years!! how can I miss a payment but the account is paid up. Now every time you inquire you get send from one department to the next and it takes 5 business days to do this and 5 business days for that to happen and here we are two weeks later and nothing happened. at this stage I don't care about the R1200 the owe me!! keep it! just give me my letter!! I don't owe you anything anymore. I am so glad I don't bank with them, would heave surely moved to any other bank. Don't even try to phone the 0861222272 number. You try to explain and you get transferred. then transferred back again. I didn't want to make a big deal about it, but this is ridiculous now .I just want my Paid up letter ABSA!! please
Almost a year after my contract expired i can still not upgrade due to debt review. now I have another contract due for upgrade. which will not be allowed. and next month my third will be due for upgrade. that will not happen. could you please contact me to terminate all 3 please i'm truly gatvol of begging for an upgrade now. and its time to move on. i can use my R1300 on better things.
I'm extremely disappointed in Cell C. like many other people in our country i've run into some problems with debt, specifically house buying debt.. where i had to take out a personal loan to cover the transfer fees. etc. anyway so i did what i thought was the responsible thing and went into debt review. ( some free advice...debt review was a mistake, don't do it ) anyhow, i've been under debt review for a few years and have always been able to upgrade my contracts ( i have three with Cell C, another mistake ) every year as it has been factored into my debt review, and cell c is not an account for which i'm under debt review. easy to understand. well now after being a loyal dumb customer of one of South africa worst networks , they have decided i cant upgrade because i'm under debt review. that didn't stop them from upgrading 2 of my contracts last year. but now it's an issue. i've always paid my cellc account as they can see when doing a credit check. never missed a payment in fact. so why Cellc? why are you showing me the proverbial finger now? why is my money not good enough now? I've been asking this question now for a week. no real answer. emails, phone calls. then i see they do another credit check and then nothing happens. why is it so difficult to answer one of your paying customers a simple question. why could i upgrade last year but not this year? both times i was under debt review... doesn't make sense. please can i have an answer so i can move on with my life to a different network provider ( even if it is on prepaid ) i have honestly had enough now.
