Fatimah and Jermaine were super helpful, very professional and friendly. The overall service was top tier and beyond my expectations. They really ensure that the car and the customer are well treated. They also went over and beyond to make sure my car came out looking brand new after service and some fixes that they explained very clearly. Sygnia debited my account even after I had cancelled the debit order ,13 days before the debit order day and as instructed by the consultant. I sent a follow up email to confirm this and was informed that the debit order cancellation was executed. i was surprised to find my account was debited on Feb 2023 leaving me with a negative in my statement that will affect me for the next 6 months. Due to their terms and conditions, I have to wait 32 business days to receive my money. Waiting 32 business days for my money for an error I did not cause.
I was advised to consider an ABSA life cover to cede the one that I currently have by an advisor at ABSA. But I soon realised that it was more expensive that the one I am currently on. I cancelled the policy before debit orders started running in Dec 2022. I have since called ABSA Life 6 times and in each call being promised that it is being worked on. It is Feb 2023, and they still havent cancelled the policy. ABSA sent me a message acknowledging receipt in Dec 2022 but I receive an email in Jan 2023 saying that they didnt receive the letter. It's like ABSA doesnt want to cancel my life cover despite me sending the documents they required. I was even told in one call that the application says that my current life cover (BetterLife) is not a registered company. I have heard the strangest excuses from ABSA consultants as I have tried to cancel a life cover since Dec 2022. I am defeated. Please cancel my life cover ABSA, I have repeatedly submitted the documents required with no help. Stay away from ABSA life. Imagine how they would behave when you want to withdraw an amount... I'm so glad I'm not with them.
