I paid R1 219 to WeQ4U on [date] to handle my driving licence card. I sent all documents and paid in full. I was later told the DLTC issued my card to someone else. Despite delivering no usable result, WeQ4U now offers only R395.50 back because “their driver went to the department,” meaning they want to keep R823.50 of my money. This feels like a ****: take full payment, don’t deliver the service, then keep most of the money anyway. What I want: Full refund of R1 219 since no job was done and they did not do they due diligence
We recently purchased a new chair from Decofurn, only to get home and discover it was damaged and defective. As instructed, we called the store and were told to send pictures of the item, which we did promptly. However, instead of honoring their own policy — which clearly states that "in cases where items are defective and require replacement, Decofurn Furniture will bear the costs of collection and delivery" we were forced to return to the store ourselves to exchange the product. This is a clear violation of your own terms, and the entire experience has felt like a **** on the customer. To make matters worse, none of the management staff seemed to have any proper training, product knowledge, or basic people skills. We were met with indifference, no accountability, and absolutely no effort to resolve the matter respectfully. I would like to know: Why were we treated this way? Why did no staff member inform us that we should check the items by opening the box and inspecting them? And why, when we were asked to sign, did no staff member explain what we were signing? Why is Decofurn breaking its own policies and causing such inconvenience to paying customers? How is this acceptable in any business, let alone one that advertises customer care? We are now looking on taking legal action, as Decofurn has violated their own terms and conditions. The fact that they agreed to replace the item after inspection confirms that it was indeed defective, yet they still made us bear the burden of transport — which they are legally obligated to cover. We are also looking into escalating this matter to the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud (CGSO) and are going urge others on all social media platforms to think twice before shopping here. This has been one of the most frustrating customer experiences we've had.
Had the most horrific experience with the staff and the "manager"( as this person was trained at all) Tsepho from walmer park shopping centre. No one knew any prices or how smart shoppers worked. They made go fetch all my items and bring it to them,no help whatsoever, they said they do not know how to use the pick and pay website, they said i cannot use there phone to call customer care. Then i got frustrated after waiting like 40 min for a price and Tshepo kicks me out and does not let my older mom finish her shopping, he kicks out both out and laughs about it. I then file a complaint and get promised by Anwar that he will call me the Monday, Monday goes and no calls,I end up calling after many attempts, Anwar then again promises me he will call me Tues. It wed today and no calls, no explanations or anything. I have contacted the media and my legal team and taking this further as Tshepo can not get away with this rude and inhuman behavior. I am shocked that pick and pay would allow such things
There is has been fraud with someone using my information on mobile. standard bank I chat to Zeenat who has been no help at all, 4 days in a row i chat to them and nothing is done, no information is given This is fraud but they don't care!! Stay away as they don't care about you
I am a regular Dischem customer and most recently visited the sea point branch, I bought over 1000 rand worth of items. Part of those items was a bottle of scrub and a large ensure powder..They did not pack the items correctly causing the bio scrub to leak and just destroy everything I made the Sea Point Branch Manager aware of this and their lack of empathy was shocking, they just do not care. They said oh it should be fine..this is with 0 inspections or anything, like they basically said, look u could be poisoned but we don't want to refund or replace ur item so please rather let you and your family take the risk of being killed After a lot of back and forth, they wanted to replace the item indicating it would of back on the shelf. I morally felt that was wrong, imagine some person buying my poisoned ensure just so that dischem could profit! it unethical and the store manager does not seem to care at all I still have not gotten my refund or replacement of the damaged items and yeah i am posting this everywhere possible as the manager is hopeless and to make the public aware that Dischem Seapoint is happy to poison you
