We paid and booked with Window Art for vinal on a bathroom window. The builders were late, and we rescheduled way in advance. On all of the written correspondence the T&C's they indicated a 14-day lead time which was also verbally confirmed. When we tried to book again after a couple of day's we were told they got in some good new deals and that the T&C's has been amended to please them. The result was that we had to find another company to do it, since we wouldn't be able to move into the house without it. It is a small job and they still need to learn the value of respect towards all customers and not give the minor ones the attitude they did when a bigger, better deal comes along. They did however refund us within a reasonable time.
An employee tried to fix our forklift with a disastrous modification. He used an old inverter and battery used for a TV and also cut wires and replaced it with unspecified products. Forklift Spares Specialists Silverton was appointed to repair. They put a battery which is about 30% of the specification size into the machine and connected this to the modified items. This obviously didn't last a single loading session. For the exchange of this battery which costs R2300-00 on the shelve, they were paid R7500-00 as per invoice. At the time of invoicing the machine was closed up again and we didn't see the mess inside. The battery was returned to them. The owner doesn't want to take any responsibility and refuse to refund us. They have no technical skills, and their business ethics is one of the worst I have encountered.
This is the worst Company I have ever dealt with. I had cameras installed which didn't work. Within a month after installation, they agreed to take it out and stop the contract. This is almost a year and a half ago and since then the harassment for payment is non-stop. After cancelling debit orders they sneaked it through again without my consent. The refund for debit orders they submitted for tracking after the contracts were cancelled are simply ignored. Stay away.
I booked a refrigerated truck from Spartan to collect Fresh produce at the market worth about R100k. The truck was booked for 07h00 and they confirmed several times since 08h00 the truck is underway. At 12h30 we determined the truck was not dispatched yet. During this time our produce was laying on the pavement outside the market but and rot. We could only collet it at 14h30 with another truck. They had no interest to solve the problem and told us their company is structured in such a way that they can't be kept legally liable. The also go under the name Book A Bakkie. They did however refund.
Absolute shocking support. Checked my telephone records and see the average waiting time for for an answer with my last 4 calls were more than 30 minutes. Subscription expensive for the poor quality of support service. Lost almost 2 working days now after paying my renewal since I couldn't get a renewal code. Total disrespect towards their customers enterprises.
I rented a Sat Phone for a long period from Sat4Rent for an overseas trip. I tested the phone in SA and I couldn't get it on. They advised me to remove the battery and insert it again, which worked. When I got in Norway I could once again not get it switched on. Their suggestions also didn't work. I offered to courier the phone back to SA since it was a burden to carry a useless piece of equipment. They requested me to keep it, which I did and returned it in the same condition on my return. I could never get it on, never mind using it for a single call. I claimed back my R4200. After numerous requests the claimed they had to send it overseas for testing and there was nothing wrong with it. They said the "courier cost" would be deducted from my refund. My question is why did they send it overseas if there was nothing wrong with the phone. I think it is quite easy to push the button to switch on the phone and I am convinced between me and sat4rent we would be able to accomplish this task successfully before sending it overseas. Their equipment is in a bad condition and they don't want to take financial responsibility. Since a sat phone is most probably rented as a life saving piece of equipment I would think they should be more responsible.
<p>This company also trades as just Just Property. I suggest the reviews of Just letting and Just property should be combined in this forum. It is shocking to see what the extend of their deposit sceme is. These people must be exposed.</p>
<p>Alias Just Letting seems to be a company making their proffit from snatching deposits rather than renting. The Hello Peter reports of Just Property and Just letting combined is quite shocking and I think it is time they are exposed in different ways. My story is similar to other reports regarding deposists witheld for defects which does not exist and exoberant values for the work they claim to outsource. </p> <p>We rented an old house which was painted (according to gossip) 15 years ago. The property was a mess when we got it and it took 10 bakkie loads to get the mess out there. We handed the property back in a way better condition it was. The exit report we signed with the inspector states the "house is clean and well looked after". The defects were compared with our entry report 3 years earlier and no additional defects were reported during the inspection. </p> <p> After a couple of days we were informed of the defects which were calculated at R8300-00. This included R300-00 for cleaning the 3 sqm floor of the toilet outside. We handed the house back early the day and while the inspection was done we had cleaners, mops and chemicals there, but the "defect"was not even mentioned. The remainder of the balance was for paintwork for this badly maintained house. Although they claim we put nails in the walls the comparrison between entry and exit reports contradicts this statement. </p> <p>Although we did not sign a new lease agreement in beginning December we still continued with rent and occupancy. Since our alarm and electric fencing was never repaired we were once again victims of crime later in December. We gave 2 months notice and they found new tendants to move in the same day we moved out. An additional amount of R6100-00 was deducted for all sorts of admin fees. This brings the total amount to R14 400-00. </p> <p>They also refuse to give me TAX invoices for these amounts I paid. With the amounts of mentioned in this forum alone, I am sure they have some explenation to do to SARS regarding this very lucrative source of income. </p> <p>This is defenately not an isolated incident and it has been a roaring and corrupt trade for years. I hope to get enough information to take this matter a lot further and expose these bandids. Please will you send me your experiences regarding any agency with details surrounding similar transactions to ********** <p> </p>
