Mom bumped my car on the right side and I took it to Olympic panelbeaters, great job was done. With the rains we have been having I realised the back left carpet has been flooding, tried to check could not see where the water was going in. So I also asked them to check it for me, only to find it's a ****y job done by Tugela panelbeaters after I paid R11800 access with Budgets insurance. Not only did they find that, only to find the fender was not tighten correct that's why the car had funny sounds when driving and lights were loose. This is a 2023 November car, had an accident December 2023 on the N3 and it was taken to Tugela panelbeaters it was there from December 2023 till May 2024 with me nagging and complaining on call asking for updates since I live in Johannesburg. While my app of the tracker showed car has not moved weeks, meaning no work was done. Fight with insurance (Budget) and Tugela panelbeaters with my own airtime finally got them doing something and got my car back. It really sounded like an old car till today. Thank you so much Olympic panelbeaters would rate you 100 stars, car looks and feels new and some of the job was done for free since it's things they picked up as they were fixing the car.❤️❤️
Would never ever recommend this insurance to anyone.i have never had such a bad experience with an insurance in the 12 years I've been driving. Thought having an insurance is supposed to make our life's easier but mine has been hard and stressfull. Not even 2 months with my new car I needed their help because a car of a sleeping driver made me drive out of the road on the 30th of December. My car was taken to the nearest Penelbetters. Understanding it was the holidays I was relaxed had to see how I continue my journey and back as I was going on holiday.2nd of January called to put my claim through, suddenly I'm told I need to pay R11800 access and I only knew about 7500 when I joined ( I'm told I was advised about extra excess just not the amount). Thinking that was the only suprise, the legal department is supposed to deal with the matter for me to get my access from the sleeping driver but now I'm told by budget they can't continue with the claim since the other car did not touch mine. So my thing is was I supposed to put my family and myself in danger by not trying to escape the vehicle seeing it was coming straight for me??.. Well, that was also not mentioned to me when I joined. To think that was enough, I had to push budget with the approval as they kept changing consultant responsible for my claim, all the phone calls and being asked to hold (my airtime?) Finally approved the claim but Penelbetters did not receive the approval, using my airtime back and forth with the Penelbetters and budget insurance. That was finally sorted, mind you I had to delay taking the hired car since it's only 30 days, my 30 days is over tomorrow (since 10th Jan when I had to start work). I call the Penelbetters every week to check progress and I'm told insurance has just approved 1 place to get parts so they are waiting for parts, they don't know how long to get them and obviously how long the car will take. Mind you,my car is in KZN and I'm in Johannesburg. It's been 41 days and counting....😡 This has been a very stressful time for me. WORSE INSURANCE TO HAVE!..
Great survive all the time and staff is really friendly and helpful
Staff was friendly on call and got the assistance I needed in detail.
Drove in to the Meadowdale drive threw last evening, after a small disagreement with my sister as to what to eat. Finally decide on a Mc D.... not knowing we are heading for disaster. Drive threw the lady takes the order, we ordered 3 meals and she missed one. We get to the window to pay, we swipe the card as she gives us the receipt I realize on it there are only 2 meals but before we can even ask she says "I think I missed the one meal" and we say Yes and the charges from the bank cause now we have to swipe again?... Her response was its only R1. Little did we know as we drove to the next window to collect the order that more is yet to come. Now this lady comes and asked a question that only now I understand it meant do we have two orders, cause when she asked and we did not understand we received an attitude and she walked away telling her collogues that hai abazi bafunani (we don't know what we want). She walked away and we were attended by a nice lady that apologized for the others behavior and she gave us our order. Drove off but notice our order was not complete drove back got out of the car and walked in now. This time we were very upset and asked for the manager, a guy by the name of Bheki came out and apologized but I had had enough of the apologies in one store and it was all coming from the people that did nothing to us .All I wanted at this point was my money back and give back their food. I told the manager I'm taking this feather and he said he thought we will sort this out like black people (I don't know what that means and I had no interest to know). That really now made me decide I am really taking this to all social platforms I have.. Does it mean cause we are black we must be treated with disrespect and when we don't like it we are told to sort out the issue like black people. I am also in the service delivery industry and really don't appreciate how I don't appreciate how I was treated yesterday. I was given my money back and left to get myself Nandos ,great service i received there and meal was great ,thank you Nandos Meadowdale. Nkateko was the name of the lady that walked away with no apology. I'm really disappointed as this is the Mc D I always use with the kids.
Great service I received yesterday from Lee on getting my car insurance. Friendly and helpful. Keep up the good work Lee.
