McDonald’s mall of Africa I saw a promotion on mc Donald’s app this morning “19th March” showing they have a last chance of the R10 breakfast, when I got to the restaurant they told me I can’t buy becausw they’ve reached their target, mind you I arrived there at 8. Why don’t you state on yiur promotions that you have a certain target than give customers Hope? It’s ridiculous honestly !

I encountered the best service at MacDonald's Durban West street this morning. You guys rocked the service as i was on way rushing to work. Big thanks to Nombuso who assisted with a smile. Fast, friendly service = happy me 😎. Keep it up!

Good morning , i have experienced a bad behaviour at McDonald at Rosebank Oxford road next to engen garage. What happened is there was a cold drink that was spilled on the floor by a customer. And i reported to the waitresses so that they can clean it because is directly at the door step. But it was never been cleaned until it's get dry 😲🤞

It's the 2nd time I've been experiencing such bad service from McDonald's Tsakane mall. I went there to get my breakfast before work and for the 2nd time my order took long and when it arrived my cappuccino was not there and the lady who was supposed to prepare it she said she didn't see that there was an order and I waited another 5minutes and was late for work. Today again I ordered,all the other people who ordered after me got their orders first and eventually when my order came the cappuccino wasn't prepared yet again. I don't know if it's personal coz the same thing can't happen to the same person at the same restaurant.

After a fantastic Mamelodi Sundowns game we decided to pass by McDonald's Arcadia for a quick bite..... What a waste! Waste of time, money and petrol. They gave us stale cold chips. It is unfortunate as it was a drive through purchase. Only noticed this when we got home to eat

I bought a meal via drive through at McDonald's Allendale by Sasol garage. Their chips were not fresh. Tasted like they have been reheated several times. Not crunchy but very chewy. I was on my way to work therefore couldn't go back to complain. I tried to call the store on the numbers listed on the website to mo answer. Such terrible experience shouldn't be left unattended. We spend money and to get old stale food is very unfair.

I just encountered the best service provider at Macdonalds Oasis buyers Naude! Such a hands on lady. As we walked in and we were busy on the self service station she came up and asked us about the rewards qr scanner thing that I didn’t even know about. So she lit our candle when it comes to that because my 12 year old always wants MacD. She wasn’t just hands on to us but with every customer. I literally had to walk back inside and ask her what her name is and she said they call her Makhadzi and I said what’s on her ID she said Tryphinah, oh man that lady is a gem 💎

Judging by the numerous 1-star ratings on this page, slow service speed appears to be an endemic issue at this branch — something I have personally complained about before. However, my visit yesterday morning revealed problems that go beyond speed entirely. I visited the Grey Owl restaurant with my wife and was met with cleanliness standards that were simply unacceptable. The floors were visibly dirty — the kind of mess you'd expect after a late-night event — and a plastic number display was lying on the floor for the entirety of our visit, only picked up as we were leaving. When we sat down, the table was unclean. We used our own napkin to wipe it down, and it came away completely black. Regarding our order: my wife's Grand Chicken Special arrived with missing ingredients. When she returned it, the staff member she dealt with appeared unsure of what the burger was supposed to contain. The "resolved" burger was returned to her with the missing items simply placed on top — no effort made to remake it properly. To make matters worse, the napkins provided by the store had a strong, unpleasant odour that raised genuine hygiene concerns. I expect a response outlining what corrective action will be taken. These are not minor inconveniences — dirty tables, foul-smelling napkins, and undertrained staff are health and safety issues.
