Again, they desrve a less than zero rating. Honestly, dont EVER sign up with these scammers. Signed up with them literally about 7 weeks ago and in that time I have had to constantly call because I didnt have connection. In the 7 weeks I have had uninterrupted connection for probably 3. Every time I've called to tell them that i had no connection I have been sent from pillar to post and then told that they have a 48 working hour period in which to fix the issue. Imagine going 48 hours without connection in this time when everyone is working from home. And don't think the issue will even be resolved. After 48 hours when I call them, I'm told its a vumatel issue and they will log a call and ofcourse, another 48 hour turnaround time. Essentially, you go a week without connection. So i finally had enough and decided to cancel. Ofcourse they came at me with a R3000 claw back. At this rate, i think that's how they make their money because I doubt anyone can stand for their bottom of the barrel service. I paid it because I just wanted to get this over with. But alas, even after paying the claw back and the agreement effectively being cancelled, I still have to chase and call everyday in order for them to release the line. FIrst I was told it would be released by Monday, Now I'm being told it takes 24 hours for the line to be released. Its a total joke. At this rate, I'm just going to report them to ISPA becuase I have honestly had enough of their incompetence. So I reiterate, do not sign up with this company. They are a scam. You will spend money calling and trying to get them to do their job and it will not happen. I dont think anyone who works there knows what the hell they're doing.
Ordered from corium for the first time on 21 March 2021. I then had to keep following up and first I was told to send a pop which I did. Then to send the follow up on delivery to different email addresses. 9 working days later I still don’t have my order. Pity because I had such high hopes and had heard good things. Maybe I should’ve ordered from takealot instead but at this rate, this is definitely my first and last order from them.
The mess that is supersonic! I have never had so many people tell me they’ll call me back and NOT do so in my life. All the consultants can do is apparently escalate all cases to some senior technician who apparently has absolutely no interest in doing their job, yet everything is passed through to them. I’ve literally only had internet for 4 days since applying for internet from Supersonic and I’ve been sent from pillar to post. At some point they said it was a vumatel fiberline issue but ofcourse, the senior technician must escalate to Vumatel. Obviously he didn’t so here I sit, again without internet. Vumatel apparently won’t talk to me directly, it must be through my isp. Make it make sense!! What a joke of a company. Really, don’t even consider getting internet from supersonic. It’s a clown show over there.
If I could give a less than 1 star rating I would. I’m so over this company. I applied for internet from them and when they finally managed to get the connection done there still was no internet. I had to wait for some fictitious technician to fix the problem remotely and they only managed to do so after 2 days. I kid you not, it only worked for 4days. Today again there’s no internet and I’m told that this same technician must again fix the problem. Lord knows how long it will take this time. If you are considering supersonic, DO NOT DO IT. It’s as good as not having internet
I moved to a new place and needed vumatel to install the fiber. They apparently work through contractors and the company they sent to do the installation basically did nothing! When my router came I still had no internet, and I was simply told to log a ticket with my ISP and they would send someone out to check the fiber line, AGAIN, further delaying this very frustrating process! I’ve had fiber installed before with another company but never has the process been so painfully slow and annoying. I’m just sad I’m stuck this vumatel because I live in a complex but if I had a choice I wouldn’t use them at all. Don’t use them if you have a choice!!
Decided to try out Supersonic after I had moved to a new place and I honestly wish I hadn’t. The experience has been the pits from the beginning. The installation took forever and when you call to get updates it’s always a different story. Honestly the red tape between vumatel and supersonic and the information you’re able to receive relating installations is a nightmare. Worst ever. Don’t do it, try another ISP
