Find herewith a detailed explanation. On the 23rd of March 2020, S.A. initiated a state of disaster due to the COVID pandemic. This meant all business were forced to close and employees could not go to work. Only essential services were allowed, the country of South Africa was in lockdown. Apadana Rugs Art and Home Décor is an online retail shop that sells carpets. Rugs Wholesalers is an importer and wholesaler of carpets and home décor accessories. NONE of the business linked to this loan account could trade, the shops could only reopen on the 1st of June as per regulation. Immediately after FNB announced through the media that they will offer their clients relief from the financial impact because they apparently understood the crisis I went online and applied for three months full payment holiday. This was done after careful consideration of the businesses cash flow projections. I was only afforded a respite on the capital portion of the loan and was still liable for the interest. Because there was no trade for a full two months some time was needed to recoup as well as the fact that people were not going out like before, what I want to understand is why FNB dont care about clients who need help. I have tried many times to make payment arrangements but they want to force full repayment.
