Unfortunately 1 star is the lowest I can select otherwise I would have given it a worse rating! This company's service is pathetic. They purchased the previous service provider I have been buying electricity tokens from for at least the last 10 years. Absolutely no notification about this was ever sent out and when I tried to buy electricity on Saturday I was redirected to the easypay.co.za site. I used it once before for a traffic fine payment and low and behold for some absolutely stupid reason if you haven't used your account in 3 months they simply lock it. This is the most idiotic thing under the sun for an online business and looking at other reviews I'm not the only one that thinks so. Anyway, on with the story... so of course now I cannot create a new account because my phone and ID numbers are already in their system and I cannot log into my existing account either as it had been locked. Next step, call their contact centre. No sir, the people who do account unlocking do not work over a weekend. So not only do they have an idiotic system but the only people who can do anything about it are only available Mon-Fri. Called back on Monday morning just after 8... no sir, that department only starts work at 9 in the morning. Called back after 9... no sir, we don't know when they will be responding to the request but you can try again in 2 hours maybe it would have been addressed by then. In the meantime I am sitting without electricity because whomever is in charge of this online service company has no idea what 24/7 access means :(( I will definitely be looking for an alternative vendor and I really hope so do you!
What pathetic service. I bought a front light from them and there were 10 people at hand to help part me from my money in about 2 minutes. Returning/exchanging a broken light however is a totally different experience. 3 Visits, 2 hours of time, 5 days of wait - that's what I had to deal with. As many people whom are ready to take your money, so few are there to give it back - well 1 specifically (and that is only if she happens to be at the store)(and yes she really is the only one as none of the other 15 people in the store can be trained or has the ability to do her level of skilled work). Also please be aware that they appear to be struggling financially as they apparently have zero cash available (even though the customer just before me paid in cash). They will gladly let you however take something else, or a perhaps gift card, so there's always that :( Rather support the smaller shops in the immediate area, it's a far better value experience!
