Stacy Steelworks (Pty) Ltd
After requesting and accepting a quotation for sinks works and waterproofing from Stacy Steelwork (Pry) Ltd, I paid the required deposit. The sinks works were done and completed however the persistent leak was never sorted out despite numerous messages sent to the project manager. To date the leak still remains. I couldn’t continue with the water proofing work due to changes in my financial circumstances and asked for my deposit back less the costs for the sinks works even though the quality of the work was beyond par! Almost a year later Stacy Steelworks have not paid back my deposit. At one point they even lied that they were sending me a proof payment. This was after they had indicated that they would pay back the deposit in instalments starting from July 2022. It is January 2023 and all that Stacy Steelwork does is blue tick me on WhatsApp and also ignore my calls!

Stacy Steelworks - A Fraud!
I requested and received a quote for water proofing services, installation of a butler sink as well as fitting of a dishwasher for my kitchen from Stacy Steelworks. I paid the 60% deposit required which was R16K. The kitchen works were completed however there was a leak in the sink. I asked Aubrey Makata, the Project Manager at Stacy Steelworks to get it fixed and he never bothered to fix the leak. Due to the change in my financial circumstances I could not continue with the water proofing services and I communicated this to Aubrey Makata. I therefore requested that I be refunded the balance of the deposit which is R13K and he refuses to pay and lies and makes empty promises. It has been more than a year! He now blue ticks me on WhatsApp and ignores my calls. Stacy Steelworks is a FRAUD!
