This comipany owned by Aubrey has ****med me, we paid him full amount for painting and gutters and he dragged completing the project. I tried speaking to him then he ended up rejecting calls and not responding to my messages. He always said his team is coming or his car is broken and the last excuses were tfat he was in court. Please don't use this company,I need him investigad

Unreliable, Unprofessional & a Complete Nightmare to Work With Stacy Steel Works & Renovations
Avoid Stacy Steelworks and Renovations! My experience with Aubrey and his team has been a disaster. While their work quality is good, they are completely unreliable and unprofessional. Aubrey constantly missed deadlines, ignored schedules, and made excuse after excuse, showing no respect for my time or the project. To make matters worse, they damaged both my balcony ceilings because they failed to properly reinstall the roof tiles. Now I’m left with the headache of fixing their mess, and the project remains incomplete because they simply couldn’t be bothered. If you value your time, money, and sanity, steer clear of this company! 2 month project still going on 5 months later!

Unhappy and sad 😔 service from the company owner
I have paid a deposit for the company to fix my patio window and frames, June of 2023, after 3months of waiting, no feedback from the owner Aubrey Makata, I requested for a refund September 2023 for another company to do the work for me. I have been waiting for my refund ever since..The owner Aubrey Makata is not taking my calls, when he does answer he comes up with stories that he waiting for money from previous jobs, 😒, this is not professional and I paid the money why does it take this long to return it back? I doubt the company is running om such a small amount of refund.

Don't recommend them at all.
If there was 0 I would rate them 0 star they don't even deserve my 1 star. They ripped me off by charging me so much money yet they can't even do their job properly. They can't even install dampvents properly. They came off just after a month of installation and they left my place dirty without cleaning. I don't recommend them at all.

If there was 0 I would rate them 0 star they don't even deserve my 1 star. They ripped me off by charging me so much money yet they can't even do their job properly. After requesting and accepting a quotation for sinks works and waterproofing from Stacy Steelwork (Pry) Ltd, I paid the required deposit. The sinks works were done and completed however the persistent leak was never sorted out despite numerous messages sent to the project manager. To date the leak still remains. I couldn’t continue with the water proofing work due to changes in my financial circumstances and asked for my deposit back less the costs for the sinks works even though the quality of the work was beyond par! Almost a year later Stacy Steelworks have not paid back my deposit. At one point they even lied that they were sending me a proof payment. This was after they had indicated that they would pay back the deposit in instalments starting from July 2022. It is January 2023 and all that Stacy Steelwork does is blue tick me on WhatsApp and also ignore my calls!

I paid the 60% deposit required which was R16K. The kitchen works were completed however there was a leak in the sink. I asked Aubrey Makata, the Project Manager at Stacy Steelworks to get it fixed and he never bothered to fix the leak. Due to the change in my financial circumstances I could not continue with the water proofing services and I communicated this to Aubrey Makata. I therefore requested that I be refunded the balance of the deposit which is R13K and he refuses to pay and lies and makes empty promises. It has been more than a year! He now blue ticks me on WhatsApp and ignores my calls. Stacy Steelworks is a FRAUD!

Professional Job done
I commissioned Aubrey and his team to paint my Palisades and gate. I have a large area of palisades and they completed it in a day. Very professional job done. And very reasonable priced. Also a great team.
