The absolute worst bank in terms of service delivery. Avoid at all costs. Should you need to re install your mobile banking app, no instructions appear to indicate that you should use your card pin, not the pin that you have been using for the app. When you get locked out of the app, it is impossible to contact the service line. I have tried at various times of the day, have been kept on hold for a total of more than 60 minutes, and have still not had my call answered.
After settling our credit card in full, requesting account closure, receiving email confirmation that the account has been closed from Discovery Bank, they continue to keep the account open and charge account fees. Attempts to contact them via email, phone calls and whatsapp are useless. Either there is no answer, or an automated response with no follow up. This is ***** and theft. Beware of Discovery Bank.
RCS customer service is beyond shocking. After settling my account in full (which they have aknowledged), they refuse to close my account and continue trying to debit my account. I have had to resort to reporting them to every available ombudsman in the industry.
Absa charges for their NotifyMe service and then does not allow you to remove recipients. Trying to call in is impossible as they are permanently 'experiencing high call volumes' - probably because the app and online banking malfunction most of the time.
The best service I have experienced in many years, as well as the best prices. Colwyn and Lee provided friendly and prompt assistance, are knowledgeable about their products and go out of their way to ensure a smooth shopping experience.
Service is non existent. One cannot get through to the call centre unless you are preoared to hold for hours and oay hundreds of rand in airtime. They do not call back on the call back service.They advertise that you can run self diagnostics on the website, but there is no such option. Exoensive and ridiculous.
