I am a female driver On Friday, 10 Feb 2023 @5.10pm I had a burst tyre in a dangerous area and tried call ABSA idirect to get road side assistance. I was on hold for 15 min, due to the area I could not hold on any longer and had to seek other help. Does anybody even work at the call centre?
A Big Thank you to Emond Auto, a division of Suzuki - North Coast Road, for your support and assistance on the 60k service due on my Suzuki Baleno. I was due for the final service on the service plan in 2020 during lockdown, however my vehicle did not reached the 60k service although the 4 year term was up. Due to the chaos during lockdown, I had lost track of my service plan and was advised by Suzuki Umhlanga that I had no alternative but pay cash for the service. Emond auto assisted me with options and advised that they will send a motivation/ appeal to Suzuki SA to assist. A initiative which was not suggested by Suzuki Umhlanga at all! Their appeal was successful and I am ever so grateful, coming out of 2020 lockdown was difficult financially. Another thankyou for swiftly ordering a new headlamp in 2019. After many complaints to Suzuki about the moisture in the headlamp being a "normal occurrence" but I had requested a 2nd opinion from Emond Auto who noted it as a default and swiftly ordered new headlamp and was later successfully fitted. As a lady, I must admit, when dealing with issues regarding my vehicle, I get very nervous, but the gentleman at Emond Auto always maintain a professional and helpful service in every department from Service agents, technicians and management, they take time to explain and advise and find the best solution to assist.
