Terrible after sales service. Bought a glass toaster and kettle combo set in May last year and within 3 days I noticed the toaster was not heating evenly. Only ro realise the top element was not working. I went back to the retailer, Pick n Pay Hyper Kolonnade Retail Park and requestes a repair failing which I wanted a replacement. The retailer went wuiet on me. The store is quite far from me so I couldn't just pop in there every few days to bother them. Every time I went the repair person was not in, or had just left to go home. When i eventually found him close to a year later they said they would let me know. I'm still waiting. They want to refund but that is not what I asked for. I even said if they cant replace the element they should return the toaster and I'd look for an element and a repair person who could do the repair for me. No luck. I'm still waiting for a reply. By that time the kettle had also started giving issues with the lid not closing. It then started closing again but the seal was not great. Overall terrible products and even worse after sales service. My advice is no buy these products especially since there is no official manufacturer's agent in South Africa. It feels as though the Australazian company who sells these, CDB, has found a market to dump their cheap products in South Africa.Why is Pick n Pay still selling their products?!

I am very disappointed in FNB's new accounts division. I have never had an issue opening an account before but this time around the bank has let us down on several occasions. I opened a church account on 10 December 2020 and the process is still not fully completed. This, after several attempt to follow up on the process. I have been made so many promises and none fulfilled to date. What is so difficult about sending me forms to complete the process?! FNB has always branded itself as a customer friendly, accessible bank but this time around, my experience leaves much to be desired. We were hoping to move funds from another bank to FNB thinking it would be easier to manage the accounts but we are starting to regret our decision to go with FNB. Perhaps another bank will appreciate our business better if we take our funds there. Appalling service.
