I contacted them on X(formerly Twitter) in the morning. The same morning, I got a clear, favorable response from them. After back and forth with their call center where I was given conflicting answers. They were really helpful and I’m pleased with their service.
We had a booking at CapeStays Penthouse suits in October 22/23. We were disappointed when we got to the place -there was no Wi-Fi, no DSTV, as advertised. The rooms were up the stairs, and the bathrooms/toilet were downstairs. When we tried to contact the owner, he would not pick up his phone, for about 3 hrs. Eventually, when he phoned back he was abrupt, rude and very loud on the phone. Shouted to us that we can 'leave if were not happy, he'll be happy to refund us'. Up to now - 28 November , we have not received our refund. Booking.com said they're waiting for his written permission to refund us, but he does not answer his phone.
We booked this place in October 22/23. When we arrived at the place, we found that the place was not what was advertised. There was no WiFi, no DSTV ,as it was advertised; and we found that the bedrooms were all upstairs and bathrooms/toilets downstairs. We tried to contact the owner, to no avail. Eventually he contacted us back after about 3 hrs of us being frustrated and disappointed. He was very abrupt and shouting on the phone - telling us 'to leave his place if were not happy, hell be happy to refund us our money'. that was in October and now in November 28, I'm still waiting for the said refund. He does not answer his phone when called by Booking.com and when we try to call him.
I made a booking on the 24th April for a night out with my kid says it was one of their birthdays. I booked online a place called Canal Quays, through hotels.com. They deducted money from my account and then while we’re getting ready to go we got a call to say the place is double booked. So they don’t have accommodation for us. When I tried contacting Hetol.com, up today (4/005/2021) I have not received a response to emails I sent to their listed email. I’m so angry!!!
