I am Chairperson of an NGO, The National War Fund, that pays grants to a number of indigent beneficiaries. These are Veterans or their surviving Widows. Our money is invested and Monthly we draw funds which are paid into our Bank Account. From this account we then make payments to our beneficiaries. We have need to assign new online Admin/Operators to replace people that have left the organisation. We have, for approximately 2 months been battling to get these online profiles setup and activated. Our Administration lady has spent countless hours with Business Bankers and Branch staff to get all the correct documentation completed and signed by the new signatories to the satisfaction of the Bank. we have finally had the paperwork succesfully submitted and now require the Call Centre to activate the users, individually, and allocate the necessary ID's and Passwords. I three weeks, we have managed to to get our Administrator activated and in the past few days one signatory who used his personal contacts within Standard Bank to help him. The other two signatories, myself and one other trustee have spent hours and hours hanging on waiting for the Call centre to help us. This resulted as us not being able to Pay our beneficiaries in July and fortunately we were able to get the payments released today. The remaining two signatories have each spent hours hanging on and have yet not been able to get the online credentials. HOW CAN A BANK OFFER A SERVICE WHERE THEIR CUSTOMERS SPEND HOURS WAITING FOR SERVICE. DONT MANAGEMENT MONITOR THEIR SERVICE. THE BUSINESS BANKERS ARE JUST AS USELESS!
Called Them out for Coffee Machine and Ice Machine that had failed due to Power Surge, Load Shedding. Arrived as promised but late. Serviced Coffee Machine. Looked at Ice Machine and said he had to take away for repairs. Coffee machine gave problems. Brought Back Ice Machine and adjusted Coffee Machine. working but not perfect. Ice Machine didn't work properly, he took away to fix, now been 4 weeks, four broken promises to deliver. Still waiting. Was Paid for coffee machine on day he fixed, was paid for Ice Machine when he delivered first time.
