I have returned to the Fat Butcher more times than I can count for their incredible food. The steaks are always cooked to my exact specifications and I am not even a big red meat eater, but they are the exception
I was forced to take out a Motorite Warranty when purchasing my car, which cost me R8 000. I have not been able to claim for almost 2 years as every incident is considered "Wear and Tear" which they do not cover. I had to take my car in for a service, and the company doing the current service had found issues that should be covered by my Motorite Warranty. They emailed the claim to Motorite with every specification required, and did not receive any response from them. It is now a day later, where both myself and the company that lodged the claim, has phoned Motorite after no receiving a response via mail. We have been informed that they are 'short staffed' and my claim is 25th in the queue! With car insurance, I have never experienced such bad customer service. A car is an urgent matter and I have been informed that I 'definitely won't get my car this weekend.' In other words, I have to sit without a car for days without even knowing if the claim is going to be approved. If you are planning on claiming from Motorite - do not expect this to happen timeously
