I am afraid that we are going to lose Columbia Stores in South Africa. I purchased a pair of Columbia boots for R 2999 in April. In July I returned the boots to the store in the East Rand Mall, as they were damaged. The boots had been discontinued already. Firstly, the complaints line remains unanswered, Secondly, I spoke to the store, then the area manager Lina, then the head office - the MD Lorna Wignall, then Jonathan Swart and then Steven Moore, difficult to get a hold of the MD - she is on the run ? This situation is unacceptable as I am of the opinion that they are closing down, with a continued discount of 50 % in-store (except for the boots). My refund has been declined
A word of warning against David Isreal Levitas, working out of Jet Park by renting out properties that he says he owns Once you pay the deposits, he then proceeds to evicts the company and keeps your deposit monies
Well, it's us again. We are now in the fourth week of our claim with King Price, and still no authorization for our repairs to our vehicle. It's clear that King Price is dodging our claim - and with the fact that they must still be looking for parts in s**** yards - we are going to withdraw our claim for R 73 000 tomorrow, have the vehicle repaired ourselves and change insurers We should never have taken this cheap and nasty insurance from King Price that was recommended to us by Signature Motors, the dealership where we bought the vehicle Not even a kind word or a phone call in response to the numerous requests for some action - all been ignored by King Price We are launching a website called ; www.anti-king-price-insurance.co.za, to warn other people that this company is really bad news
We are now in the third week since the accident and still have had no response to the approval of our claim - as the assessor says, KP is sourcing the secondhand s**** yard parts needed to do the repair? Thís really worries us - we know that they posted this whole explanation that they are allowed to do it and so on, but it still worries us The repair to the damages to the car are R 73 000 and we have an excess f R 13 000 to pay. We checked second-hand parts for this repair and its less than our excess payment of R 13 000. Thís means that KP gets the repair for free - because we pay for it anyway We made a mistake going with KP, we should have read the fine print - no wonder the reason that they came offer cheap insurance fees - because it costs them nothing or very little to effect repairs - if they ever agree to it ? Even the tow truck driver said that KP is not a great insurance company to deal with? Why did we fall for this thievery? We can see that we are going to have to have the car repaired ourselves if we want the right job done - the job that we were convinced that we were insured for
Well, its been nearly 2 x weeks now and no authorization for the repairs to the car. The assessor called and had us travel 37 x kilometers across town to have the car assessed. We are told its R 73 000 to repair the car, and that King Price will definitely use secondhand parts sourced from the s**** yards WHAAAT? We insure a car for fair value and not for vanity. You can put lipstick on a *** but it still remains a *** ? Is this how King price offers cheaper insurance by using s**** parts for repairs ? This has become a Royal Pain really it has. Left messages, no replies, except on HP last week to say : Claims will contact you ? Furthermore, the excess to be paid is R 13 500 ? We can use second hand parts ourselves and have it repaired for close to that - there is something really wrong with this dynamic here. But i don't expect much more than to wait another week or two
King Price took exactly 7 x minutes to write up our policy - but now that we have a claim it has turned into a Royal mess Promises are made to call us back, and nothing - confirming the date the car will be assessed, by sms, and nothing. Not a phone call, or an updated position The dealership where we bought the car said King Price were the best - well we have a damaged car, no reply from King Price insurance - this is a disaster We may have to repair the car ourselves ?
We have paid for services from Kolisa Tax and Accounting Services, based in bank street, Nigel - and cannot get them to comply to our requests. Emails are not answered, and calls are ignored. Ronel Bann heads up this business - I feel as I have been defrauded here
Theunis was great - came out on a Sunday to show us the car
