My name Patricia a 70 yrs old elderly woman . On the 2 August Tinder deducted a sum of R259,99 from my bank account ,when i google this Tinder i was shocked that its a dating app that i never subscribed 😳 i went to my bank but couldn't dispute the deductions . Then again yesterday 25/August Tinder deducted onother R259,99 . Can this Tinder stop this nonsense and pay my money back .

Early this year we decided to go and see the doctor to be checked everything starting from blood tests memograms , cholesterol etc with that hope that we have a medical aid that is deducting on monthly bases . After that my wife got sick with Covid early this year but there were no funds so we ended up paying the Doc cash . Later on we received a massage from our doctors demanding payments. After that Pathcare sent us a bill because Gems refused to pay claiming that there were no funds . While we were busy arranging the debt of about R6000 from the doctor and Pathcare. On the 9th of November we decided to go to Gems offices to cancel the medical aid since it was not helping us at all . Since November Gems started calling us claiming that we owe them R5000 the reason is that we needed to give them a waiting period of two months before we cancel the medical aid, that we don't understand . How that possible paying the debt to our doctors while we have medical aid and also pay the medical aid too . Please help us.
Wi-fi name:VC-1932-7199 . As elderly couple we were given a flyers for Wi-fi and we call them. They completed installation on the 30th/Sep that was a free trial. On the 30th/Oct we paid 1st installment as they are aware that 30/31st is our pay day. On the 27th/Nov that was Saturday evening, we receive a massage saying Wi-fi is suspended due to non payment ,there and then we had no Wi-fi until now ,we tried to contact them but they are not contactable at all. Please help us we don't like the fact that they are still demanding payment whereas they left us half way ,we expected their suspension massage on the 30th not earlier that that .
Gems Member no: 001485797 After my pension from Dept of education I decided to remain with Gems ,usually Gems funds exhausts very early .It happened that I got sick from BP in May this year and there were no funds.As we are elderly people me and my wife we couldn't even afford a GP let alone an over the counter medication . Early in May we went to the Doctor both of us and he referred us to a Pathcare , right now i owe that Doctor R2650 an optometrist R2600 as it ended up to be debited every month. So in October i decided to cancel the medical aid .To my surprise yesterday I receive a call from Gems telling me that I have an outstanding amount arrear contribution of R5600 i need to pay asap please help me .

On the 18th May 2021 i sold the car.. It turns out that the car had a tracker where it was deducting R99, 87 per month. Account number : 645415 :ContractID:11204165. On the 14th June they received a cancellation request in order to terminate the contract. To our surprise on the 27th July I received an email demanding a settlement amount of R700 and if i do not pay the settlement amount the contract will not be canceled it will remain in force, they will continue to provide the contractual service and debit my account accordingly. I never signed up anything with these people and I was not even aware of a tracking device in that car because I never received any call making me aware of this issue. I do not understand all this pleas Hello peter help me.
Im a member of Gems Medical aid, member number : 001485797. I'm also a retired government employee. Gems is deducting R2800 every 1st of the month. On Wednesday I received a massage from them saying they were unable to debit my installment because there was no money and that was not true at all. Every month I make sure that I wait for my debits to be paid. I only use the money on the 4th of every month. Now they are telling me that I need to pay it on the 1st August . Now tell me how can I afford to pay the whole amount of R2800 on the 1st August what is worse is that I didn't get a budget for this. I just want them to make a plan because it's their own fault. Please you did help me before from this same Gems. I have nowhere to go for help.
My husband is a pensioner. We agreed that the debit Order with them will be on the 31st or 1st of every month. We were shocked when we received a massage from Gems saying we owe them R9000, only to find out that they stopped their debt order or they are deducting late or earlier that what we agreed. We went to their office here in East london, they called their head office and they told us to pay R9000 within 7 days. As old as we are where on earth are we going to get that R9000 within 7 days? I regret the day we joined Gems.
