I will not stop writting about the **** service of African Bank I have been waiting since the 29th for a credit application for 2 weeks now its been saying reviewed, how long does it take to review a credit application and the worst thing is they don't even communicate with you, but as soon as they see its on Hello Peter than they want to make contact and promise you everything will be sorted in 48 hours well my 48 hours has been going on for more than two weeks now, i have resent bank statements and everything required over and over and over again, I do not wish to speak to a customer representative I wish to speak to someone higher up in the bank cause this is absolutely ridiculous, non off the other banks take so long you get it within hours, You guys take more than 2 weeks its a joke, I want to speak to someone who k ows whats going on. My next step is putting in an article in the newspaper.
I app**** for a credit card after about two weeks sending and uploading the same documents over and over again i received my card, 2 weeks after that i app**** for a personal loan, its been another 2 weeks of uploading, emailing and whatsapping the same documentation over and over again than they say can read or the salary payments don't make sense one of my payments they made two salary payments which I also sent them the letter they requested from payroll but all these documents were the same documents I sent when app**** for the credit card no problem, its a constant struggle with them as if they don't k ow what to do and the keep requesting the same **** over and over again and than you wait 48 hour s like they sayand just before the 48 hours are up you get an sms stating they need some documnets I think the person reviewing this is either blind or stupid, no other bank you wait so long for anything but African Bank its a constant struggle, when you phone you get some rude asshole on the other side no customer service, you go to a branch the rude they don't greet you they look at you as if they doing you a favour to be there, my opinion African Bank should close their doors really the worst bank I ever had to deal with.
It's been more than a month now since I raised a concern at Panarottis Head Office and the store in the Kolonnade, as of yet no positive response I was told to go see the manager which I did but he was available on 3 occasions, I received a phone call from him where he basically told me I'm talking nonsense that he is there every single day, it was left like that a week ago I got another response that someone will contact me regarding my issue as of than nothing, now take away food doesn't come cheap and yoy expect to get what you pay for and proper quality unfortunately this wasn't the case nou more than a mo th has passed where tgis has been ignored completely and you get a call whereby a manager or who ever he is is telling you you talking ****, than you leave it with knowing you won't go back and after some time you get a facebook message telling you someone will contact you regarding the problem than nothing rediculous and very unprofessional from a store level and Head office.
Worst food experience and really not worth the money, and you can't talk to anybody when trying to phone the store Brooklyn Brothers Honeydew really disappointed in your food and service
If there was a zero I would love to rate African Bank that, again after almost two months still no answer on my loan application after submitting it again on Saturday 5th June 2021 received an sms yesterday that all documents have been received and they finalizing my application, I had to phone them again this morning just to be told I have to resubmit my documents now my question is why send out an sms saying documents received and they finalizing it but when you call its a different story, this must be the worst bank and customer service of any bank the employees of the bank is incompetent, no wonder they have 1,6 rating, if you read the other reviewes it seems a lot of people have the same problem, I think they need to fire the CEO of the bank clearly she has no clue on how to run a bank or business and than in general just close African Banks doors for good, its rediculous on how long a person should wait for a response and they tell you they'll phone you back yah right Christmas is tomorrow aswell. I have never experienced something as bad as this clearly another sign that th re are people in positions that are not suppose to be there. i probably receive another call telling me that they'll sort it out and than another week or two will pass with no response they can keep their **** I'm not interested anymore and as a African Bank client I'll close my account and move to another bank.
This bank and it employees are so incompetent I have been waiting for two months to get my loan sorted everytime its a different story and after 5 days I have reapply, and the snoty attitudes of the agents is something that tells you theyjust don't care, everyday I have to phone to find out whats happening and everyday the same story being reviewed they'll get back to me and this doesn't happen no communication from anyone, I think the CEO Ms Basani MalulekE needs to start checking up on the poor customer service cause there isn't any, as African Bank customer I'm very disappointed in their **** service.
