I feel compelled to let all girls who do lashes know about my story… And it’s sadly not a good one. Below is a picture of my eye with an eye infection caused by lashes done at a salon in Somerset West. First things first: I have had my lashes done countless times. Not here though, and I am well aware of the ‘risks’ but I’ve never had this before. After the lashes were app**** my eyes felt like they had lazers shooting through them. I woke up in the middle of the night with the worst pain, a swollen eye and my eye looked like the lazers were now beaming out of it. 👀 I would like to add that after qualifying in the health and skin care industry I am a ‘jermophobe’ and know how important hygiene is, especially lashes so I was super thorough. A week later… Swollen eye, pain, and lazers again. So I contact the salon. Mam we will soak them off. So I go. I need These things goonneee!!! Now the salon and head office are aware of my situation, eye infection confirmed by a optometrist the works. And what do we do? Apply the lash remover, dip the syringe thingy back in the bottle and apply some more… Nee man!! Anyway. Long story short. I now have ‘summer lashes’. Some are here and some are there. No, I lie. I hardly have any real lashes left but to the next person who has their lashes removed there I hope my eye infection doesn’t go into your eyes. (I did warn them and head office!) Maybe insist on a new bottle. They didn’t seem too phased by it 😵💫
What a wonderful experience from start to finish! The guys at CDJ kept me up to date with where and when my car was and delivered earlier than expected! Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for moving anything from big to small!
This is now month 3 that a ‘technical glitch’ has happened and my debit order has been cancelled by Vodacom and I am getting to the end of my tether!!! No one has answers as to who has cancelled the debit order and all I get told is that there was a technical glitch ? The first time I called to query why my debit order hadn’t gone off (3months ago) I was nice, by the 6th phone call I was a seriously annoyed and ASSURED that my debit order had been re-instated. Last month. The same issue. This month, well what do you know. The same issue again. Because of the 1st incident I have a bad credit / payment history record against my name. I have sufficient sms’ that have said my debit order was re-instated and if I never phoned again this month the issue would have just continued. @Vodacom please explain to me why I need to phone you, after being a loyal customer for +-15 years to make sure YOU get paid, when my debit order has NEVER defaulted. The consultant told me this morning it was a technical glitch. 3 months in a row? Is it time to cancel my contract??
