The supposedly name of the company is The VIP Travel Company, founder and owner of this company is Albie Hanekom. Not sure if The Travel Company is affiliated with him but the VIP Travel Co does not even reflect on this search. After some research about The VIP Travel Co, there were red flags which cautioned us and rose concerns re the operation of this so called VIP Travel Co. We approached the owner with questions, which he did not like, we cancelled after not feeling comfortable at all dealing with this "travel company". Albie rep**** to us in the most unprofessional, disgusting response. We were shocked. He even blocked us from the Facebook page, for obvious reasons, we would share our dissatisfaction and expose this bad experience. We lost our deposit but rather that than having to deal with such uncouth behavior. We wouldn't want anyone to land up in this unpleasant situation that we have experienced. Be warned.
Great, professsional service from Renee Roux at Flight Centre, Somerset Mall. Renee assisted us and kept in touch with regards to our travel arrangements to Indonesia and back.. She went the extra mile to make sure that we were kept well informed and had peace of mind during a very challenging time with restrictions and cancelations during difficult traveling conditions amidst covid restrictions, etc. Renee your amazing assistance made our journey a dream come true. We highly commend you for your efforts. Nothing was too much of an effort for you. You were prompt with your responses all the time. You are exceptional! Thank you.
We would like to compliment the staff of Qatar Airlines for their exceptional, profesional service. My husband traveled from South Africa to Jakarta via Doha. He needed special assistance after suffering an injury due to a motor accident. He received first class treatment from Qatar. Well organized, caring and dedicated staff. Thank you!
Still no response from Telkom with regards to my refund on two cancelled accounts Numerous calls of an hour each, stood in a queue for about an hour at the store to report the problem again, numerous emails to Telkom. Its been four months now since my initial request - no joy whatsoever. BUT the marketing department still call almost everyday to offer upgrade, even after the contracts have been cancelled but no one gets back to me about the refund. Pathetic service.
After canceling two contracts 3months ago, I am still being charged. Wasted money and time on numerous long phone calls and emails, still no joy. Yet, I receive up to three calls a day for the last couple of weeks from Telkom marketing dept for mobile upgrades. How do you explain that. Customer service, pathetic. Marketing dept, persistent. Still no comitment from Telkom regarding a refund, after telling them to check my itemized billing for the last two months. Each call conducted, resulted in empty promises. Still waiting to hear from Customer Care....
