Telkom has incorrectly calculated my billing after a replacement, resulting in my lines being suspended even though my account is fully paid and up to date. Telkom has confirmed there are no outstanding payments, yet they cannot explain or identify the billing error. There have been no account changes in the past 3–4 months, and I am being penalised for an internal issue that Telkom cannot resolve. I expect immediate restoration of my lines and a proper investigation into the billing problem.
My Telkom account is fully up to date and my balance shows R0.00, yet my line was suspended for allegedly exceeding a credit limit. Last month, an agent confirmed no limit had been exceeded, so this suspension makes no sense. When I called, Nore Mabule insisted I must make a full monthly payment before they could even log the request to unsuspend — despite my balance being zero. When I asked for a manager, I was kept waiting for 30 minutes, refused a name, and then the call was cut after 40 minutes. I refuse to believe this was a network issue — it felt dismissive and unprofessional. After paying on time every month, I should not be given conflicting information, left without service, and treated with such disregard.
So I recently got placed at a new job and my recruiting company decided to send me a congratulations gift. Swe stated they kept calling me to confirm delivery, which never happened as I have proof on my call log. They returned the parcel twice and made the recruiting company pay for delivery twice. And the gift did not get delivered. The company paid for the 3rd time and because I sent proof of no phone calls, they actually called me. I sent the driver a code as an sms and asked him to please drop it at concierge. He entered my complex and left shortly after (can see on app). I went to concierge and the parcel was not delivered. Delivery guy kept cutting my calls. Called the swe directly and when I explained my situation they said they will transfer me to operations and cut my call 3 TIMES. I finally had to get a bit aggressive. My call was seen to which took like 10 minutes. For the guy to tell me the driver said there is no concierge and that my recruiting company stated they had to deliver the parcel straight to me and not concierge. This is absolute lies. Most terrible service ever.
