I have had all my FNB accounts blocked by FNB completely since last week one of them being my business account. No questions asked and no call or communication as according to them there is a Fraud allegation against me. All I get is an e mail stating that I the guilty party and their client for over 11 years needs to get all the documentation together including an Affidavit from the police to send to them. I spent hours in my branch yesterday trying to resolve this matter as one can imagine being completely cut off from any ability to access funds to buy groceries, airtime, electricity etc, never mind causing major havoc in my business with clients trying to pay and be paid. I was assisted by a wonderful lady at the Table View branch who tried to assist me to speak to the Fraud department only to eventually be told the person from that department cannot take call but e mails only. Surely you first contact your client before completely cutting off any access to communication where no one can assist you with the issue at hand and you have zero access to any funds whatsoever. Surely this is a huge infringement of my rights. It is worse that innocent until proven guilty and there is no one that can help me not even a manager or any sorts. No police case number provided for the apparent fraud case against me either. I have now resorted to making a case with the Financial Onbudsman as well as the Financial Service Authority. Absolutely disgusting treatment from FNB. I will be leaving and taking all my business elsewhere.
I have an emergency fraud issue with Nedbank been calling and holding and following the prompts only to get cut off each time before being assisted. I am stumped how can this be happening on a fraud line with emergencies. No please advise how to get in contact Nedbank.
