Telkom in Kolonnade Mall gave me prompt and excellent service when I needed to do two sim swaps after I lost a phone. The consultant also alerted me to better and cheaper contract options regarding my data sim. He promptly initiated the new contract. Even without the necessary paperwork with me, but with permission from his branch manager, the process was concluded expeditiously. The consultant Sydney, deserves a bonus!
I regularly use Shimwells for servicing my motorcycle. Their service in general, is always excellent. Twice when I had emergency situations, I actually turned up at their workshop without any appointment. During both instances, they immediately dropped what they were busy with and attended to my problem without any hesitation, sorting it out promptly and professionally! Special thanks to Zack, Braam and other staff.
No luck with mobile contract upgrade. Useless operators and useless processes. They wasted my time for two month with a simple contract upgrade. Every second week I would phone in to query the progress of my order and why I have not received my new mobile phone yet. There is simply no recourse if an operator doesn't do what he promised. Every time when you phone in to query your order, it's like phoning in for the first time, with no action from the previous call. I eventually found out that my order have been cancelled more than a month ago, in the mean time being stringed along by three useless operators for more than a month. One even 'escalated' the matter to his supervisor, of which nothing came. After 2 months I'm worse off than when I started because the phone that I order, is now out of stock, with no alternatives that will serve my purpose. I'm an extremely patient person, but never tell me to repeat something because whatever I did, was a useless exercise.
