I have been thoroughly impressed by Unboxxed from before I purchased my device on the 25th of February. I messaged in to enquire about a Note 20 Ultra they had in store - they called me immediately letting me know that they were not happy with the quality of the product and took it off the website. I then went for a s21 Ultra and wow - It was labeled as good condition but the phone arrived looking brand spanking new. I ordered my device the Tuesday, I was notified every step of the way and it arrived in Cape Town and delivered the Wednesday all the way from Pretoria. My entire office was thoroughly impressed and since then have seen how many times they are browsing away on the unboxxed website. I will Definitely recommend this company any day of the year.
On the 29th of April 2021 I Purchased a 2.1 channel speaker system from Milnerton Cash Crusaders for R580.00. Everything was great with the product and it worked perfectly fine. Recently the speakers aren't able to play louder than it's softest volume no matter if you turn the volume up on the speakers or device. I walked in today with my slip as it's almost been 6 months with no issues and there's clearly something wrong. Firstly the lady at the door advises me that they do not offer any warranty on electrical goods, I ignored her and went to ask a different gentleman. He asked if I had my slip still which I did, he then advised me to bring in the system so he can check. He connects it but then Julliet Gilbert steps in and asks me where is my box of the product. I advised I don't have the box as I purchased this item months ago cause who keeps an empty box laying around. She then advises me she won't help me cause I don't still have the box and I am sappose to keep the box for the entire warranty period of 12 months. I then said okay this is ridiculous and said I will then take my stuff and leave. The gentleman who first assists me proceeded to tell me to take my stuff and get out the store. What sort of customer service or what people do they hire that can firstly treat people like that. I am stunned as I have made many purchases from this store before and now that I have an issue with something that should be sorted out by the warranty - I get told to take my stuff and leave. I will never be returning to that store again and I would advise anyone reading this to not buy any Dixon brand as it seems they know the product will fail and will do anything not to rectify it. Just poor is all I can say.
Good Day This email I will send without a order number nor account number just to prove the only response you get from Vox is to confirm those numbers and no response further. All complaints and dates have been recorded since April. Now since South Africa does not hold an official complaint board for consumers all I am able to do is write a simple email once again to service@westerncape.gov.za which as usual to further ****py infrastructure won't help. Now the funny thing is that I can put my debit order on hold and I will automatically receive a call miraculously from this Company that exists as if they were born yesterday. So I will put it on hold as I have been sending emails through and through. Now I will mention that Vox does not pay their Suppliers which I was advised from their so called "account managers" while waiting almost 3 months for them complete an order. POPI act prevents me posting their emails on here. This exact email is what I will post on hellopeter as is. I just want to advise people that leave it to people like us who actually have existing accounts and are trying to get rid of this poor excuse for a national company. P. S - The amount of people I always turn away from this company will forever grow cause to be honest I will take the cheekiest cashier at a KFC drive through or even take a **** on hot coals.
