I brought in my Sons GWM to Nissan Haval two and a half weeks ago for a clutch repair. After many phone calls, it was stated that we have to wait 4 days for the parts as GWM spares centre do not accept collection from the agents. This is rediculous. On Friday i went to collect the vehicle and it was stated that the clutch slave cylinder needs replacement. I enquired if they cannot repair it, upon which they remarked that they could not. I insisted that they send it to a repair centre in Brits, but i was told that the person who did that is no longer at the firm. I then requested that they make a special arrangement as I ned to get my sons vehicel back as he is a student and neds to travel to Pretoria. From Monday until today, I have been phoning and requesting answers, but there is no urgency. I even offered to connect the Mechanic with a reputable firm that specializes in the hydraulic systems. I got no joy from that either. At this point the person that I was dealing with, has now not answering my calls and I was transferred to a person who is in another department, but says he is a qualified Mechanic and will look at it tomorrow. I will not recommend any person to send their vehicle to that company for repairs.
As per my review published on 29 July 2021, I have not received a call from the Vodacom consultant yet, accept for a call to offer me a reduced contract by R100 and a R65 000 study voucher, which I do not need. my fibre went down on Friday evening and when I called, I was notified that the business hours were till 5. After half an hour, the network came back on. I still only have 40 to 60mbs for my 100mbs contract. on Sunday evening the fibre network went down again and we ended up using our cellphone hotspot to finish looking at the moving we started watching. I really would like to cancel my contracts and go to a reputable company.
I am very frustrated with my fibre services from Vodacom. I have to phone in weekly as the fibre line keeps dropping, Further to this, I am paying for 100mbs, uncapped, and when I test it, it only runs on 30 - 40mbs. I get a lot of buffering. when I call in, it takes a long time with disconnect and numbers and still, it does not work properly. I have asked to speak to a senior person, or a number where I can complain, but to no avail. I have 7 contracts with Vodacom and I have been with them for nearly 30 years, I have never missed a payment (on average R10k per month). I am terribly dissatisfied with their service. I have asked who I can speak to, to cancel my contract, but they cannot assist, because that is only the helpline. I have responded to their survey that they want us to do at the end of every call. I have given them the worse scores and still, they did not give me a callback or query why I gave them such a week revue.
