This year I bought a car from SMD that was probably the worst. I did not go to inspect the vehicle as I'm in Limpopo and the vehicle was in Durban. The vehicle was flood damaged and nothing was mentioned. How they missed this I don't know because mould was growing on the headliner the transmission was full of water, the previous owner tried to cover it up. The speedometer was changed it only showed 20 000km on the clock but took the VIN to Kia and the car went for a service on 63 000km. There was literally a service book in the car showing a service history not corresponding to the mileage on the car. I phoned SMD and sent emails they never even got back to me. The worst part is when I made the payment I missed 50c on the payment, they would not release the car to me because of that. I had to make an immediate payment of 50c. I personally won't buy from them again.
This was my first time using UBUY and it was a very pleasant experience, the shipping was very fast. I would definitely use them again
I can't complain about the service because there is no service. I bought parts from Clive in March 2019 and I have heard every excuse. He keeps on advertising even when he can't supply parts to anyone. My review on this business is very bad and I can't find other customers that are happy with this service. There's a WhatsApp group full of unhappy customers that have not recieved anything. Im still waiting for my parts or a full refund. Be carefull when buying from clive bike's or global motorcycle importers
Clive is scamming people, I have been waiting more than 2 years for parts or a refund and the excuses are never ending. He is always extremely busy even when nothing is happening. He is saying that he is running a big business but there is no address for this big business and no happy customer's. If you confront Clive the first thing that comes up is he wants to get attorneys involved but I received an email from his attorney's stating that they want nothing to do with clive. He keeps on advertising on Gumtree and olx, and I will keep on reporting all of his ad's so nobody will make the same mistake as I did. Clive has recently changed his business name to bike parts global because clives bike's is bankrupt so he had to get investors to help him out. He can even make parts disappear with a courier tracking number, never seen or heard of ever again. Word is he is still searching for parts that never even came??? Most recent excuse is the Durban looting and some of the atm's got hit and now he cant make any payments. Do not buy parts from this guy he is a scam.
