I requested for my refund and completed all the necessary documents. I emailed them to gilda@smd.co.za . Unfortunately I haven’t gotten back my money back . They no longer taken calls or respond back to email. One of their employees told me they busy with retrenchment

They haven't been having actions for quite some time. On the 20th February I requested a refund of R5000 for a deposit I had with them in order to be able to bid. I haven't received it yet and their telephone goes unanswered even if you hold on for a long time.

Most pathetic auction company around. Site constantly down-freezing and just generally "BAD" Need to upgrade or close down. Buy from Go Bid or Auction Nation. They offer way better service. Time to close company down.

I am deeply disappointed with how my case has been handled. It has been over a year since I was ****med out of R68,000 in what appears to be a *****ulent transaction linked to your platform. Despite repeatedly reaching out, I have not received any meaningful feedback or resolution. This situation feels like an inside job, as the ****mers used all my registered account information to carry out the payment. I was targeted as a first-time female payer, which makes this even more concerning. I urge the company to improve its ***** detection and customer support processes. Prompt, transparent communication and swift action are critical to restoring trust and protecting customers. Please ensure that future victims receive timely assistance and clear updates on their cases.

This year I bought a car from SMD that was probably the worst. I did not go to inspect the vehicle as I'm in Limpopo and the vehicle was in Durban. The vehicle was flood damaged and nothing was mentioned. How they missed this I don't know because mould was growing on the headliner the transmission was full of water, the previous owner tried to cover it up. The speedometer was changed it only showed 20 000km on the clock but took the VIN to Kia and the car went for a service on 63 000km. There was literally a service book in the car showing a service history not corresponding to the mileage on the car. I phoned SMD and sent emails they never even got back to me. The worst part is when I made the payment I missed 50c on the payment, they would not release the car to me because of that. I had to make an immediate payment of 50c. I personally won't buy from them again.
