I would like to formally raise a concern regarding a very disappointing experience I had today, 25 February 2026, at Ocean Basket Vangate Mall. When I arrived, there were only two customers dining in, so I expected my takeaway order to be prepared within a reasonable time. I ordered the R145 special, which included prawns, calamari, fried fish, fries, and rice. Unfortunately, my order took almost an hour to be prepared. During this time, I was repeatedly informed that the order was being packed. When I eventually received the order and left, I checked the contents and discovered that prawns were missing. In addition, the fish and calamari were burnt, and the taste suggested the food had been prepared in old oil. To make matters worse, no napkins or cutlery were included in the takeaway bag. The quality of the food was so poor that I was unable to finish the meal and had to discard it. As I had purchased the order on my way home from work and live far from the mall, returning to the store was unfortunately not feasible. This experience was extremely disappointing, and I hope you will investigate the matter and advise on how this will be addressed. I look forward to your response. Nosi 0764111104
Been 2 months now I’ve been waiting for my order. In 4th week of my order they messaged me to say they were short of sizes and will keep me posted. 5th I messaged on WhatsApp and in email to no response. 6th week they WhatsApp me to say they lost access to my order as it was hacked but recovered it. That was on the 11th of April, till now I never heard anything from them again. Been sending follow up messages but to no response. Did a bit of a research and it looks like I was not the first and not the last person to get ****med. I still cannot believe that I was ****med a whole R1800😩. Worst part is I have them on my WhatsApp what’s and they still post their products. Kuthi mandife!!!!
On the 15th of August 2023 I ordered items online from Woolworths Rosebank Mall but still have not received anything. Tried following up but apparently my order was held somewhere. Since then, I have not received any update. Tried message but no feedback. Please can someone assist as I need urgent update on this?
All thanks to Mereshnie Dheepnarayan for finally assisting me with my query, Mereshnie has been very helpful. She made me understood what the issue was and came up/ or rather suggested the best solution for me. What stood up for me was her acknowledging that she did not have all the answers, but tried her best to investigate and returned back to me with clear feedback. Thank you Mereshnie .
It's been 2 months now (From July-Aug 2021) waiting for someone to call me back to resolve my query regarding the cancellation of my plan, as well as correcting the amount I am supposed to be paying!! I have sent numerous emails and have spoken to almost 4 consultants and no one seems to be able to resolve this matter. My conversations with all the consultants ended with "I will call you back again to give you the final feedback", and I am still waiting for that call today. I am very disappointed.
