After my last review i was contacted very promptly i since learned that the credit provider rejected hyphen's offer and i am still non-the wiser on what to do. I am now being threatened with summons while payng this compnay 20k a month, Great job debtbusters how to ruin someone's life in 4 months.
If I could give lower I would. I pay the company over 20k a month to manage my debt and still get hounded by attorneys. My accounts have been handed over and nobody at debtbusters answer their emails and callcentre agents refuse to put me through to someone senior. Next stop credit ombudsman
Payed, was told they are not taking new clients and I will be refunded I have still not been refunded it’s been weeks
Traumatized. If I could score lower I would! On 31 May I approached DRSA to surrender my Dachsund Beagle cross (Daisy) As I had to relocate due to work and couldn't find an apartment within my budget that would allow a medium sized dog. I had to move by 1 August. After contracting covid, delaying the process, I finally signed the surrender forms on 28 June. I offered to take daisy for a full vet check (which I did), Get all her vaccinations up to date along with her medical records and payed DRSA R750 to have her sterilised. The money for the sterilisation and full vet check was completed by 10 July. This is where things went downhill QUICKLY. By this time My moving process was well on it's way making communication quite difficult however San-Marie notified me that she had found a family and would complete a second home check on the 10th after rejecting two previous applicants because the homes were not suitable. The New applicant was an older lady and her husband who resided on a farm in Frankford. I was quite happy for daisy to go there as she grew up on a farm and we put plans in motion to take Daisy to her new owner. We organised a meetup spot in midrand (San marie told me the lady was working in pretoria that week). We took Daisy to Midrand on Sunday 25 July (From Klerksdorp, North west) and handed her over to her new owner Just after 11 with a new harnass, bowls, blankets, jersey, the whole 9 yards as well as her Vacs card and vet history. After a smooth handover, we made our way back to the northwest. At roughly just past 15:00 I received a call from San Marie saying the Lady doesn't want daisy, claiming she is not a Dachshund, That she is too big and we need to go fetch her. At this point we had just gone through the roadblock between Gauteng and the North West, Keeping in mind this was still under lockdown level 4 before the President relaxed ristrictions later that evening and you need permits to move between the provincial borders into gauteng (permits which we had just used to enter back into the north west). As a result of this we could not make a uturn and go back. We would have to drive to Potchefstroom (60 km from where we had just passed the roadblock), obtain new permits from the police station , Drive Back to pretoria to fetch daisy and then drive back home, all of this before the 9pm curfew. Keep in mind it was almost 4 by then and a round trip to pretoria and back (without permits and handover) is roughly 4 hours. We explained all this to sanmarie, who then asked the applicant to hold on to daisy she will try and find her a new home so she would not have to be displaced more than she already was. I was understandably devistated by the situation as surrendering a doggy you love dearly is not an easy task. By the next morning, DRSA had posted the situation on Facebook labelling me as an owner who "doesnt want to go fetch her dog". I raised my concern about this to sanmarie as this was far from the truth. The post was subsequently changed. San marie then asked me to perform a home inspection on her behalf on 26 July on another farm 60km outside of klerksdorp in ottosdal. I put in leave at work and went to perform the inspection just after 12:00 and after what I perceived as a successful home inspection gave sanmarie the go ahead to complete daisy's adoption with the new family, lets call them applicant 2. I asked san marie if i should go collect daisy in pretoria after which she told me not to, that applicant two would go fetch her and that I have done enough. Later that eveing I get a phonecall from sanmarie wanting to know why I am lying to applicants. Me being taken aback by this encouraged sanmarie to create a whatsapp group, similar to the one we created for applicant 1 to find out what is going on. It then turned out that Sanmarie had told applicant 2 that I am an owner that doesnt care about my dog and left my dog with a stranger that doesnt want her (This after I had by that time offered twice to fetch daisy, and the so called "stranger that didnt want her" was an adoption applicant vetted by San-Marie). After applicant 2 set the record straight that she felt I was insincere during the inspection because she couldnt bring together the image sanmarie has created of me with the person standing infront of her, Sanmarie left the whatsapp group (not without throwing around a healthy amount of insults and slurs). Myself and applicant 1 continued to speak and I explained the set of circumstances to her that led to me surrendering daisy as well as why I couldnt turn back. Applicant 2 apologized profusely asking me to forgive her for allowing her preconceived perception of me as this monster who doesnt want her dog, get in the way of her actually getting to know me or the situation. We parted ways on friendly footing. By then I had made arrangements with applicant 1 to fetch daisy the next day and bring her home. I notified Sanmarie of my dissatisfaction with the way in which daisy's adoption had been handled and informed her that I am withdrawing daisy's surrender and will be going to collect my dog. By that point I was exhausted, traumatized, and anxious. San Marie then proceeded to swear at me, badmouth me, threaten me with legal action (all under the FALSE PRETENCE THAT DRSA IS A REGISTERED NPO, which I later found out was not the case) and refused to pay back the R750 for daisy's sterilisation that never took place. Upon Collecting daisy from an hysterical applicant 1 who could not stop crying while handing daisy back over to us, it came out that san-marie had brutally twisted her words too and that she was fully intent on adopting daisy until she realised daisy is too heavy for her to carry. We were also informed by applicant 1 that they had to pay hefty adoption fee (that sanmarie also refused to pay back) that included daisy's sterilisation, which I had already payed for in full. Applicant 1 had also been publically slandered on facebook. We parted ways in a friendly manner and I vowed to keep her informed on what was going on. Sanmarie then informed me that she will pay back my R750 at the end of august (which it now is) and when I sent her a friendly reminder of this I was once again threatened with having my name slandered on facebook and that I will only receive R300 as the surrender fee (which was never discussed with me prior to or during the adoption process) is apparently R450. She then blocked me without taking my banking details. While I can report that daisy is happy and healthy living with my mom in the freestate, I would advise people to stay clear of this organization. Surrenders and adoptions alike. Its disgusting. The amount of verbal abuse and emotional trauma I Had endured in the process to do what I perceived to be the right thing for daisy by surrendering her, turned out to be my worst nightmare. NO REPUTABLE ORGANISATION will tell the surrendering owner to conduct home inspections on the organisation's behalf, have you deliver the doggy to the new owners on the organisation's behalf, have you pay for full vet checks, vaccinations and sterilisations while charging adoption applicants for the same services, Not meet the dog they are rehoming once, not meet the approved adoption applicants in person once and then proceed to publically defame you for their botched process.
